Op, 08 Apr 2010try using another soner phone to do re-format your memory a... morethe memory card is different from the memory card of the aino that my brother has, so i cant use it in his phone.. i did format it btw using program i found in google..

raje, 07 Apr 2010hye op!! im agree with you.. i use x2 too.. it alwys hang w... moreraje, when you do the battery charging and phone switched off, whether the lights are green / red? and whether the battery indicator will be full, when the battery is full? because when I charge the battery I do not know when it's full. thx.

I like the phone OS but the style make me feel uncomfortable to operate, i often to use one hand in creating a messages so is this phone can operate using on screen typing messages?or just the qwerty type keyboard on landscape position?thanks more power SE..

Op, 07 Apr 2010I always buy sony ericsson, from t900, z520i, K750i, K800, ... morehye op!! im agree with you.. i use x2 too.. it alwys hang when in use.. but,about the battery,i thnked you use it uncorrectly.. you should press the power botton every time you does not use your phone.. it really works.. my phone can be used almost 2 days.. but im really dissapponted about the rotation system of this phone..!!

why when im open my contacts list, and at the same time i open the board,it doesnt appears vertically.. i mean,when the board is open,the screen should rotate right?? but,when open the contacts,it doesnt rotate.. only when open the contacs list.. can i know why this happened?

I always buy sony ericsson, from t900, z520i, K750i, K800, P1 and X2 is the last one, but my disappointment of the X2 is very deep!
Batteries that are not entirely clear, there is no pointer and finished fast!
Videos are broken at the time in the play! Position change to the landscape that are slow!
Stored memory could disappear themselves! Receive messages from telephone providers repeatedly! often hangs while in use!
Why Sony Ericcson issued a product that clearly fail like this?

a girl, 07 Apr 2010so...?Just google the words 'SMS lag fix'. After the fix, the battery was back to normal.
I'm happy with my update so far. I think this fix will also fix the shortened SMS tone.

Xperia X2 software upgrade now available
Tuesday, April 6th, 2010
As promised, the first full software update for the Xperia X2 (in older posts on the Xperiancer blog I’ve called this MR1) is now available. Timing on the update is different for certain markets but many of the software versions are available now and I expect the rest to be available by the end of the week. The update will be distributed through the Update Service client found at www.sonyericsson.com/update.
This new software is a healthy step forward – not only does it bring performance and stability improvements throughout the device but it also introduces several new features as well.
Here’s a list of highlights:
- MR1 is built on a new core platform release from Microsoft including a newer version of IE6
- Stability improvements are everywhere with focus on SlideView, Panel manager and TileWave
- Performance improvements focused on rotation and touch performance, the camera, web browsing, the software keyboard and audio streaming
- New features are added like FM radio, Video calling, Auto-lock and Fast GPS which allows for a faster first fix to the GPS signal
- SlideView 2.0 gives better usability throughout with a fresh design; and new actions are build in like new/reply/delete/edit capabilities in messaging and calendar. Music scrolling/searching and the mini-player have also been enhanced
- The new dialer took a big step forward with four easy buttons giving easy access to the dial-pad, favorites, call activity and contacts. We increased the target hit area in contacts for finger friendliness and added user friendly redial functionality
- Based on feedback from you, we really worked hard on the software keyboard (XT9) by improving speed and touch responsiveness

ok...so I opened SEUS & a newer version was downloaded, so I was getting a bit excited. but apparently my phone already has the latest software :(

i'm still waiting for the SE site to actually say an update is available, coz this update we just found out ourselves. technically they're already way beyond the (end of March) deadline

guys, i updated my x2 couble days ago, then i come here and see that i'm not the only one who has problem here. i wish that i never updated it. mine is too slow now, it freeze when i restart and i have to remove the battery to walk it up. typing is terrible, too slow, the touch screen doesnt respone as well as before. they only did some improvements in slide view, add radio and video call which i would never use. you can see that the new ROM is 20 mb lighter but the games are gone. hope they will fix these things soon.
