Anonymous, 30 Mar 2010Is the device freezing when u're using any particular appli... morewell I got the phone last week & updated it twice last thursday. i installed the application update on friday.

i'm not posting to scare anyone dude, it's just my honest opinion. i'm sure that when SE finally release the March update (which I have a strange feeling will be in April), the device will work smoother. on the other hand, application-wise & the whole look & design are awesome. the only drawbacks are the resistive touchscreen, LED flash (i'm used to K800i & C905, & processor. coul've been better with at least 512mb RAM.

since it's still pretty new, I only installed about 4 apps (opera, gmail app, microsoft facebook & microsoft remote desktop) & tried removing some useless apps. can't seem to get rid of the CNN panel & MSN Weather & Money though.

tyrmif, 29 Mar 2010if this phone hangs again i swear i'll be on the verge of s... morea tip for u...
in my observation, X2 will more likely to freeze and hangs when:

            the battery is below 40%...

and if u install too many application in it, it will make ur device works like snail, and it will increase the percentage of the freezez and hangs...

i keep my battery above 50% most of the time and i deleted stuff that i dunt use so it works faster.. hope this helps..

look i was confused to what should i peck up between satio or xperia x2 but i think x2 much better because

              *Specifications
              Great
              *Price
              Reasonable

and don't forget the satio only touch screen ,but x2 touch and got Keyboard and the both of cell phone nearly got same Specifications except the camera and for sure u got ur opinion

if this phone hangs again i swear i'll be on the verge of smashing it!! re-flashed software twice to no avail.

SE seriously have to hurry up with that major update!! they said the update would be out by the end of month & not on the last day (if ever that is). why are they always so slow?!

on the other hand, I really doubt SE employees use their own phones! how can they not notice the crappy speed & stability in the X2 & still use the same processor & ram??

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970It depends on what you want, if you want a multimedia phone with a great camera and more stylish go for the satio. Further, the satio is more easy going than the Xperia.

On the other hand, If your more of a business guy and have no problem with using wm, which is considered slower than other operating systems like symbian and andriod. Also, if your work demand a lot of typing and emailing you may go with the xperia x2.

So it all depends on what you need.

                    Cheers!

another thing...when trying to turn on Wifi after the phone is on standby, the phone crashes every time, & i'm waiting for the 2 small clips that hold the back cover to break due to the constant hard resets. i've only had it for 3 days & it's pissing me off!

tyrmif, 27 Mar 2010so basically my sim card requires a pin to be accessed. whe... moreit happens to me too..
n the way u have to access the pin code is trough cal, or u can also put it in by clicking the signal indicator and choose setting, then u will be asked to enter ur pin code..
it also happen to me after the update, so i guess that is the new system that is used, there no mre automatic, u have to do it manually.. i'd also like the previous one though, when we turn on n directly ask to enter pin code..
lets just wait until the bigger updat in a few days.. enjoy..

Suz, 27 Mar 2010can i know if the X2 have the traditional Chinese language ... moreYou need to download it from google. You can either download it by typing ( Chinese fonts for xperia x2) or ( Chinese fonts for windows mobile 6.5).

Either way you must download it and install the application in your device. Alternatively , you can wait for the update coming next May which will have Chinese fonts as standard in the update it self.

Just make sure that if you download the Chinese font application, that it is not making your device slower, otherwise I advice you to remove it and find another application, since there are plenty of them.
