i ordered a htc hd2 from clove.co.uk from UK a month ago and i paid 760 for it, got the on december 15, and had it for 2 weeks and sold it out on craiglist for 500 dollars yesterday. Htc hd 2 is a good phone with 1 GHz processor and 4.3 capative screen(but weak battery and no front camera). but i m a heavy texter and i still prefer QWERTY keyboard. i also had the htc hd, nokia n97 and the xperia x1 too in the past half year, but i sold it all out after 2 months i had it. i know the xperia x2 its slower than the htc hd2 and have the same processor as the xperia x1. but the x2 have 1500 MAH battery with 3.2 screen and 8 mp camera and qwerty keyboard(plus a stylus). this are the features i like of the x2.

I might not get the update because of the slow CPU, but NOT the screen size!

it is awesome technology. i am using n95 8gb at the time and i am thinking to switch to x2. I request you to please include it to T-mobile contract.. i hope that i;ll b able to use your this technology. thanks.

I accept it, HD2 is good, but like others I think I prefer a keypad of some description. HD2 is very quick and seriously if I see the X2 and I don't like it then I will probably keep HD2 as I don't fancy N97 or Motorola.
Hopefully I will find out if I like X2 soooooooooon!

No phone comes out perfect......I have the HD2 and love it. HD2 is fully customizable to how you want it through Xda developers and others and through applications (like Spb Mobile Shell)....

I know you will drop in after that question and you have been on this walk before and you will be again to support your HD2. You should do it because it is powerful phone.
The problem is, not every phone is for everyone. I was sold for Diamond's look, I went to store. Upon my request the guy reached for handset that has mesmerised me from front face but as soon as I saw it sideways I instantly stopped him to get it out where it was.
I didn't like HTC's designs much to be honest, its not company it is just designs, X2 or generally Sony made good designs in phone and I am glad SE is not fallen for ugly trend of iPhone style like many others. In term of design X2 has too much to offer to eyes of admirers.
Touch only set are great, I tried but they are not for me because I think I am very heavy user and I still use my very out-dated P1i for many things without any problem, which HD2 can't do.
I must have to have actual Keyboard, I need use of stylus for writing and sketching hence I think resistive screen as long as they will be producing it.
I am more of a click/tap guy than drag/sweep on screen type of people. Small drags are ok but too much of it is just not my thing.
I don't like to carry things in my hand no mater its camera or phone or bag of any kind so I need a device that can be fit into shirt's pocket along with several other things I carry.
I used to think I don't use camera too much but recently my 2gigs card run out of space and it turns out mostly it was pictures I took through 3mp camera. I guess I am a camera guy, so I do have to consider this side too. Before it I used to carry Canon camera with me.
Most of all, I want Sony Ericsson, seeing other handsets in person I really believe SE's handsets are better in quality and not as expensive as others.
For WinMo 7, as soon as another good looking Xperia comes out with WM7, I will take it, if not X2 there will be.
I really don't use smartphone for calling that's why I am also thinking to get some sort of UMPC, that's why XPphone is on my list along with Viliv 70. But I am not jumping on it because I am sure in coming 6 months of time tablets will be mature to be used more than Internet or Multimedia devices and that will be right time for me to get one.

It is really hard to draw a line about good or bad between these two. I think it will be come down to OS and physical keyboard.
If you are music personal than X2 have most wanted 3.5 plug. If you remove the megapixels than I think quality of pictures should be almost same in both handsets, in my opinion we normally end up having 3-mp images so I am talking about quality.
Both OSes have massive library of applications available all over the internet so you can make your phone whatever you want (I hope)
If you want to go for a life-style phone with really really good screen, faster processor then of course Satio is all set up for your hands.
Over se-blog.com you can read/watch Satio's review in case if you are looking to know Satio more. However we are almost blind from final performances of X2, but let see if it will roll out into hands after 10th of this month.
