When I read your news I was just asking my self? How could any one blame us for being fans of Sony :)
I respect high achievers and true innovates in general because they highly inspire me! And Sony is no different, and that's one of the reasons I don't feel for such love for samsung because they mainly copy/paste things instead of creating it themselves.

No sorry you can't upgrade the X1 to windows phone 7 because the hardware is not capable of running such software. So your option is only windows mobile 6.5, I'm sure you will enjoy it though :)

A good news for future Sony Ericsson phones.
Sony Corporation on 20 August ,2010 revealed on Sony Global website that sony has succeeded in developing hybrid wires for mobile phones which will allow high speed data transmission & signal transmission (upto 946 kbps) along with power transmission through a single wire.
In current technology mobile phones have separate wires for transferring diff. things.
But with this new technology(which sony has especially created for mobiles) they aim to make mobile phones extremely slim ,bendable ,flexible & much more durable.
SONY also said that phones now a days use approximately 22 wires but with this new tech phones will use only 1 wire.
So it's obvious that SE will be the 1st mobile company to get this tech & will kick the ass of every other company.

I have experienced that keeping non-threaded view in SMS..keeping my inbox faster and not hanging also...previously i was facing problem that whenever i open sms inbox..it freezes for sometime..and in some cases i needed to restart phone..but now..its working fine....well..but i am trying to get used with non-threaded view. (pls check task manager..non threaded view consums less memory also)

i had xperia x2 now. amazing mobile lol. i love it. Thank to sony. Oh ya. Dun forget opera 10 for xperia and see what happen :D

In order to get the best performance out of your battery life, here are some basic tips from professional people in the field:
1- If your battery is new, charge the battery from 8- 12 hours while keeping the phone on, you should do this for the first 5 days. ( in this period even if the device indicator shows it's fully charged just ignore it)
2- After each charge use your device normally until the battery is very low, and do not wait until the battery is fully dead.
3- Finally, just charge the battery normally until the device shows that it's fully charged.
By applying these steps you will be very impressed with how well your battery will perform, by the way this works best for new batteries.

I'm interested in buying a new SE Xperia, alr... moreIf you want a device with a good keyboard you should go with the x10 mini pro, and if you want a great device with a lot of potential than the original x10 is a great choice.
I think the X2 is more of a business phone than a multimedia choice. So if you want a very good device for everything including multimedia capabilities than you should get your self an android phone.

mmm x2 & x10 both of them have camera 8MP . but x10 make HD video and have bigger screen . in XPERIA u can find ANDROID & WP . so which one u like ? if u wish better phone just wait for PERFECT XPERIA X12 .
x12 is thin like GILLETTE .

I'm interested in buying a new SE Xperia, already have the X1 but a little disappointed, that may be because i bought it refurbished> :(.
I don't do alot of surfing but I do do alot of SMS messaging ,picture taking and listening to music. Which Xperia is better?
Love Sony had the S500i, C905 and Xperia X1.:)

I cant believe that SE discontinued PlayNow for X2 and some other devices....Saying that they have a new playnow for their newer devices..So how am i gonna get stuff for this phone and its not even a year yet since the phones been out
