You've just made me entertain thoughts of buying an HTC...hehe...just kidding.:-D Am actually considering getting myself an X10 though. Ya, you're right, should not get my hopes too high otherwise major disappointment sets in when MR3 does not happen. Ya, I'll just take this experience with a pinch of salt but at the same time keeping my fingers crossed for MR3. :-)

I wouldn't budge until some money came my way and i decided to try some other phone...i'm much happier with the HTC Desire since i don't really care about a physical keyboard.

... so now i'm indifferent about whether MR3 comes or not. But hey, keep on hoping, and maybe u should add your voice to the myriad found on the SE blog site. Cheers :)

Specs wise, the X2's quiet impressive, that is if it performs as it's supposed to. I hope its not wishful thinking for SE to do just that and give us another update. This time without issues! Keeping my fingers crossed!:-)

Its funny that in their haste to release MR2 to fix the bugs and add more features (eg. radio & videocall functionality), they unintentionally subtracted a feature also. Design wise, this phone is extremely good looking, I do hope SE will release MR3 & fixed the remaining issues so we can truly enjoy its wonderful features as well.

Cheers : )

Seems like xda developers are doing a better job in addressing these issues than SE. Handwriting recognition is my preferred mode of letter inputs, thanks to xda, the stylus could be used for its intended purpose rather than just an earpick/nosepick/toothpick. :-D

But some kind souls have released the cab at xda-developers that u can use to bring them back. I downloaded the cab but haven't bothered to try it since i hardly use handwriting recognition. :)

I read in some forums that while updating to the latest firmware fixed a lot of issues & made their X2 "usable", it also removed the handwriting recognition feature of X2. Just want to know how true this is.

About the whole song playing.. Yup, I encountered that too, funny it seems.. But that's when you receive the message when you're NOT in standby mode.. If the phone is in standby, it won't even reach the first 10s of the song.. It just gets cut off..
