Anyway true.. You can't get it all, & everything does have a price.. But I just think that I would take the risk & buy the X2.. Like aka baby said it may just be good enough for me, hehe

I'm willing to be patient & learn about the phone inside out.. With this I think I will do a decent job at least.. As you said apart from the bad things, this phone is good at some things too.. :)

              Dear friend,

I don't recommend this device for beginners because most of the beginners are not patient and not willing to learn. So if you don't function this way, this will be another matter. Keep in mind that the os which is windows mobile is known for not being stable and fast like other os.

I mean this is the case even with windows on our computers, it lags, it stops, crashes but it also has some major advantages that other os lacks.

Anyway, if your willing to go with the evil and pretty women go for it, but be aware that she might kill you one day hehe :P

              Best of luck :)

Well I guess maybe its my sin, to bare the pain because I can't resist the beauty :P

Exactly like my gf she hurts me a lot but I can't handle leaving all this beauty hehe. Of course this doesn't mean that she doesn't have some really good things in her, exactly like the X2 :P

After all you can't get it all can you? And like they say everything has a price :)

However, if the person or the device was all bad, of course I would recommend leaving her/it immediately! The X2 has it's goodies no doubt about that.

That being the case i think the X2 would be good enough for u. Plus, you gain the advantage of a good camera...and if you don't care about a fanciful user-interface, you may uninstall spb mobile shell for even faster performance. So i'll say go for the X2.

The thing is that, I really am attracted to this beautiful but evil 'lady'.. I have a feeling that I can be patient with it, & as time passes by I really think I will own an X2 eventually, one way or another.. I just can't resist having it in my hands & feel it for myself!

That's why I need to know all the updates necessary for the X2 when I finally get one.. All I know is about the MR2.. Is that all, or do you know any more sort of things to do with it? So that you could get the best out of it..

Btw can't help but notice about the 'memory card issue'.. What is that all about?

I loved it the first time I saw it, lol.. & yeah, I've been reading a lot of the opinions & reviews on this phone in gsmarena, yup.. Not quite happy customers & users are aplenty..

But true, there are some who really do like this phone.. I mean, they're happy & satisfied with it despite the problems it has.. This is what that keeps me believing that maybe I could be happy with it like them, & you! :)

By the way, you said you wouldn't recommend this to beginners.. What does that mean? Well, I would say that I'm not really knowledgeable about these tech, phones, its software & stuff, but I'm not a complete beginner as well..

Didier, 16 Aug 2010Hey guys! how's the x2 working after it got the MR2 update?... moreThe X2 is much better after MR2, and there are a lot of things that has improved like the stability, responsiveness and the speed of the phone in general.

However, the video recording is still bad, and the update still didn't solve the memory card issue, so you still need to install the sdfix.cab in order to prevent losing your data.

The phone still hangs once in a while but it's nothing compared to before.

Hope this helps a little :)

                        Cheers!

If your a heavy texter like me you will be addicted to this phone. I text a lot whether its sms/emails/ browsing and the X2 does an amazing job regarding writing texts, it is very fast and responsive. Also browsing the web is an excellent experience with the X2, so it will do well for social networking.

The thing my friend is that if your not a patient person this phone will do you no good. Most of the people are not patient and complains a lot, sometimes they really have a point and other times it's just a waste of time. In my opinion, since you know that this phone has some problems and issues, this means even if you buy it you are responsible for your actions.

I read a lot about the X2 before I bought it, and some reviews including gsmarena were seriously negative. I didn't give a damn and I just bought the phone because I loved it from the moment I saw it. And now I am very happy with it !
Just keep in mind most of the reviews were before MR2. Regarding MR3 there is still nothing from SE, so I can't confirm or deny this.

                          Best of luck,

Dude the X2 is like a beautiful women but she is evil :P

So your attracted to the awesomeness and beauty and then you will pay for it lol. Seriously, the most thing I like about the X2 is it looks very solid and attractive. The hardware is just one of the best in the market! And I must admit the quality of the still pictures is in my opinion the best you could get at least in a wm device.

Anyway, the issues comes with the software. And that's the reason I don't recommend beginners to buy this device. If you go through the comments you will find a lot of angry customers that share there terrible experience with this device. However, there are still some very happy customers and no one can deny this at all.

Regarding the black outs and lagging be sure that you will still have them since this is a wm handset. Keep in mind, before MR2 the black outs, lagging, hanging were terrible, but after MR2 the phone is much much stable and bearable.

aka Baby, 15 Aug 2010Hi, I'm an android fan now, so i'll suggest you go for an a... moreLol sorry I posted it twice..

By the way, like I said a physical keyboard is important for me that's why I'd like to buy a phone which has one.. This rules out the X10 or some HTC devices.. As for the X10 mini pro, the small size is actually a drawback for me.. While I've been thinking of Vivaz pro its build quality puts me off..

I just need a good texting & internet browsing phone (regardless android or WM), & I have to say that the X2 is one of the most (if not the most) beautiful & good-looking phone out there.. What do you think?

& thanks for the feedback, really looking forward for more!

Its one undeniably beautiful phone, & the QWERTY keyboard I should say are the things that has attracted me.. & yes a physical keyboard is important for me!

You see I've been stuck with my Nokia 5800Xpress music (touchscreen phone) for almost 2years now.. Everything was okay, apart from the screen & LCD display which is rather problematic that the touchscreen occasionally doesn't work and you have to restart it..
The worst thing is that typing/texting on this phone is soo slow..

What I do need now is a phone which can excellently browse the web, does okay with calling & receiving calls from friends/family etc. & most importantly texting sms/email with a faster speed! Basically that's all that is important for me to have.. Can the X2 at least be performing well on these?

I know some people don't like this phone. But I still do ! And yes I still think it's a good phone. I have this phone for 7 month now and I'm still living with it, and I use it on a daily basis, some times it drives me crazy, but most of the time I'm happy with it :)

I'm still taking great pictures, texting sms/ emails, browsing the web, and enjoying the great screen and looks of this phone.

PS: this phone has some problems, but if your aware of the problems, and can deal with them then your ok. However, if you have not used a wm handset before and your a beginner, you may need to think twice before taking this phone.

Or you could just do like aka baby did and buy the desire for your piece of mind :P

Finally if speed is very important for u and u don't mind having a low speaker-phone then i'll suggest HTC Desire since it is superb in every other dept.
