A flaw of the IE browser is that it doesn't automatically rotate the pages with the built-in accelerometer. One would think that this is the easiest thing for the developers to do but they obviously saved themselves the effort here.
Anyway, you'll get there if you slide the keyboard. There isn't a setting for manually switching to landscape mode either so like it or not - sliding the hardware QWERTY keyboard out is the only way to go landscape.

Does browsing using opera mobile can be viewed in landsacpe mode with out sliding the keyboard out, since opera mobile support auto rotate for device with accelerometer sensor and xperia x2 has that feature eventhough it's limited... and also when viewing mobile office files...
can the camera shutter sound be turned off ...

The desire is a great device, and it's super responsive. Besides, the screen is very bright and nice as well. I respect htc products and I think you made the right call :D
I always believe that regarding quality SE and HTC are the best in the moment. Too bad with the X2 the os was buggy and ruined the great quality of the hardware. However, I still have hope and I'm still optimistic and most importantly I'm still happy with my X2 :)

Atleast update camera features...plssss....its great 8 mp camera..but like latest gun without proper bullets..it can make sound and smoke..but can't kill huh...

I can not believe I paid all this money for this money for this piece of garbage. I could have bought an iPhone for less money, what was I thinking. After bad experience with HTC (iMate JasJar and JasJam) I told myself I would never trust Microsoft products again, only to be lured by this salesman who kept emphasizing the display. I admit it, temporary insanity.
What is wrong with it? let's start with is does not work, it is very slow, unresponsive, you click a button and be patient for something may or may not happen. or maybe by divine luck the action that you intended actually does occur, but do not count on it.
This is the last release of Windows CE, there will not be a subsequent release. Between Android and iPhone there is no room for this inferior technology.
What a waste of money this was.

I've switched to the HTC Desire not because the X2 is un-usable, but b'cos i just happened to have some extra money so i decided to give myself a treat...and i'm so happy with the Desire...it's so responsive. I'm still keeping the X2 though, and i would upgrade if SE releases MR3, but i'm not going to wait for it...I've moved on. I shall still be checking what is going on in this forum and offer help where i can. Cheers :)

Almost all app that's on PlayNow could probably be found on xda-developers.com. Like Panels and Games.
Why not get it from xda, put it in your SD card and install it to SD card. VOILA!!!
People..visit xda every now and then. It's the oasis for WinMo apps, modifications and tweakings.
Everything you need to optimize your X2 is in there. Want a louder loud speaker?? You can learn it at xda, too. Just browse the site.
Don't expect to be spoon fed all the time regarding on how to maximize or optimize your phone.
Search and Learn!!!!

I hope for all our sakes MR3 is out soon although MR2 was great...
I'm getting so annoyed with the memory of the phone internally... all applications i download from play now and marketplace etc they automatically get stored in the internal memory and now its full ( i didn't even download much apps)
I have to say X2's memory is SO S***

i need help for my xperia x2 , i use it since 3 day´s but i have it on swedish language , to change language need to flash it , how can i flash my x2 ? with usb cable or how ? i really hate SE now . x2 is shit work so slowly and for 1 day i need to take out battery and start phone from beginin cause phone blocked and i cant do something else . i pay 320 euro for it but i can sell it for 200 now just after 3 days , is shit phone . so tell me how to flash it , thank u for ur time
