Hi Guys! I read your oppinions here and I am wondered! I just want to say that, my device (X2) is great and I am in love with this phone. I don't have such problems like yours and may be I am lucky. After MR2 the device working just perfect. There is only one weaknes, the video quality is not good, but the camera is awesome! So there is nothing perfect! My phone deserves every one cent that I paid for it! CHEERS!

misnuf, 07 Aug 2010Hi just wondering if someone could tell me how to add my ow... moreit is very very simple, just go to your file manager...then to storage card..then to the folder where you have kept your music files..then just press on the music file..keep it pressed and in a second a menu will appear..then select "set as" and set that music file for whatever notification you want..simple cut...copy...send..rename..delete options are in this menu only.

Hi just wondering if someone could tell me how to add my own personal ringtone, i have tried everything that i can think of, but i am getting nowhere.
also the default tones for ringing and messages i cannot hear. if any one can help i would appreciate it.
Its just got me so frustrated!!!

Hey just bought this phone and i cannot set my own ringtones and when my phone rings or i recieve a message i cannot hear it. Any suggestions, I have done the basics, also?

I really wonder what SE's problem is...so many issues with this phone, so many people complaining, yet no official response from SE. The same goes for their flagship X10 too. what a shame! now i can't be bothered if/when MR3 is released any more. i've gone for an HTC Desire...and i'm loving it so far. hope i can live more comfortably with its issues. so long SE!

I've already sold my X2 and did get an Android phone.
Just want to make it clear that reason why I sell my X2 was for a simple fact that WinMo 6.5 has fast approaching oblivion. And not because that the X2 was "this" and "that".
I love my X2, i was able to optimize it fully and was performing well. No one can argue how good-looking this phone was. The keyboard is just heaven to use. And to top it all, a really awesome camera.
But I want a device that is future-proof, sadly the X2's isn't one of them. The hardware maybe (sans the processor) but the software's not.
With a heavy heart, I dropped WinMo 6.5 for Android.
Thank you SE for the wonderful X2.
Ps. I'll be waiting for your Window7 phone.

Everyone, X2a DOES NOT WORK on T-Mobile USA 3G network! I try it and it is not working. Now I need to return my phone. Except anyone have better solution!

This is by far the worst phone I've ever had and let me tell you why. I've had this phone for over 2 months and it irritates me every single day. Everything runs slow. I do me everything. Even writing a text lags. Umm on a good day it'll freeze on me maybe 2 times but usually more than that. When you're in a hurry trying to call somebody, nope that's not going to happen. Try waiting for like a minute until it lags to the calling screen. I'm just being honest with you all, the phone looks nice and all, but it's running on a wrong OS. Don't ever get a smart phone running on windows mobile because your phone be become a stupid phone.

I have bought this phone and for 2 weeks, I have returned it and said that I will not buy Sony Ericsson anymore...
The phone itself looks elegant & I was so inlove with this phone but felt miserable after using it in 2 weeks. When I bought it, in 2 days there was an error message ARM9 FATAL ERROR, I didnt install any application yet, I had just open my facebook account that time through Wi-fi. When the message popup, it get stuck, so you have to remove the battery. it didnt happen once but almost everyday! and onetime every 45 mins!
So I decided to send it back, they have issued new one, which i was so happy, but after few days, AGAIN, I have experienced the same error! I have joined the SE forum but nobody can help me, I have sent an email to SE Service Centre but no reply.
The other fault of this phone are:
1.) Hangs all the time in standby mode
2.) When you remove the battery because it freeze, the battery drains quickly
3.) Looking for Wifi will hang again
4.) Very low signal, sometimes no signal at all, I wonder what will happen if u need to call urgently and no signal :(
5.) its is a slow phone as well
Above are the problems I have experience just in 2 weeks. I hope I have helped you to decide if this phone is worth buying for..

It fell face down and it still carries a light scratch, but apart from that it has no problem at all in months.
Another minor flaw is the rear cover sliding lock, which tends to come undone when taken out of some car cradle built for N97.
