I would like to see a phone screen 4K when I open the menu programs and browse and I have used it before sony z5 4k and sony xz 4k but I prefer z5 4k because all devices work the same task unless Sony wants to come With a 4K phone and not a device when playing video and pictures and there was an update that activates that feature 🤔

Its the rest of the specs especially price point made them lagging behind.

Their software skill is bad for giant company. Their skill is only raising the number, 2K, 4K, 8K. 48mp, and implementing old tech.

can someone confirm that sound equalizer work throughout the whole system youtube, mx player etc. because mine only works in walkman, sony video apps and spotify

Recently I have try the A70 on shop, the bezel-less is a mess when taking photo because there is no bezel to pinch, when I press the on-screen shutter button it zoom in the image because of my left fingers pinch on the bezel-less screen, it is just a beautiful false.
A tiny bezel would be fine, a bezel-less is for gimmick.

I like the diversity and I want to avoid the cheap plastic on a 1k EUR device...

The only reason for which I didn't order this phone yet is that they seem to refuse to put wireless charging on Sony smartphones... Also an audio jack would still be useful. Otherwise, I still use the old XZ Premium (first 4K display on a smartphone and still one of the few) and after all this time, all I can say about it is: Premium :)
So I will take advantage on the incredibly good XZ Premium and I will wait for the next flagship from Xperia series... Hopefully there will be some improvements... But anyway, if I would have to replace my phone now, even so, Xperia 1 would still be my first choice...
The bloggers/reviewers still spread different opinions around about the camera setup... But I would still chose the most important producer of camera lenses in the world... Maybe they could improve a bit also the camera software and then I will order it for sure.

Boring UI? Use a different launcher. It's an android phone you can change everything.
