Update from official service shop - fingerprint sensor FPS Part Nr 101215911 to be replaced. Hopefully it will work afterwards…

Also I had issues to connect to Android Auto, it would stuck during connection process. I uninstalled Android Auto app and reinstalled it again. After that it connected without issues and worked.

Phone is ok, but first time I had such a terrible issues. I was in doubt Samsung Galaxy A52 or Sony Xperia 10 iii. I went for design and wanted to have something different, and in addition local Sony reseller was offering a discount for this model. Now I know why 🙂

Hope and wish there will be software update to fix all the bugs.

    I also noticed, that I can't use Android Auto (doesn't matter, as I don't need/like it anyway) or MirrorLink, as phone just won't connect. Car radio say's connecting and second later gives error - connection failed.

Can you share your e... morei cant tell you about fingerprint issue because i dont use it....but i have issue with wifi connection two times after update to 62.0.A.3.163...i just restart phone...remove wifi then again reconnect with password and its ok for now...

        Can you share your experience with fingerprint sensor? I got issues - after couple of uses I had to restart the phone to get it working again. Seller recommended to reset to factory default and re-install the software. I did as advised, there was some period of no issues, but couple of days it went out of order and fingerprint option disappeared from the menu at all. I used the phone for 3 weeks and had to bring it to authorized service shop for diagnostics.

        Another issue I noticed - after some connections to car and usage of Android Auto, phone did not want to connect to home wifi router.

        Did you have similar problems? Just to understand, is it only my issues or common for other owners as well.

                lately when I use the camera and when I start deleting images in the application itself after a couple of deleted images the camera freezes for a few seconds. Does anyone have this problem?

                      My friend also had a problem with calls but another phone... imagine ... when he take off his phone case everything would be normal..when he put it on, again a weak voice he just changed case....try...nothing will cost you

                        I'm struggling with this phone, it takes time to get back to where I was with my previous Sony - XZ1. One thing I missed is the normal Sony audio playback feature of equalising the volume of songs. So I just downloaded another audio app which has that option.
                        One remaining problem is that people I talk with either on an internet app or just using the normal phone call is that they complain that they can't hear me, the volume is too low.
                        Anyone have any thoughts on that? Never had that before.

                              New surprise from my Sony crap: everytime I try to connect to my home wi-fi it fails. I need to restart the device so it can get connected. It makes me so nervous I am just a step away from smashing it at the wall. And believe me it's only the top of the iceberg in a long chain of malfunctions.
                              Never will buy anything from Sony again in my life. Not a single piece!

One time when I tried using Multi-Window normally my phone was stuck on a black screen, even when trying to lock and unlock or holding down power button. If that happens hold down the volume down and power button at the same time, you will get to bootloader settings and you can restart the phone from there! Navigate with volume buttons, select reboot system and press power button.

                                    Don't use the Multi-Window switch at the bottom to select apps for split screen.

                                    Instead, after you tap the app button, click on the icon at the top of the window of one of the apps you want to use, and then select Split Screen from there.
                                    No crashes that way.
