Hello everyone,
I have a problem with my Sony 10 III. My battery barely lasts a day, but I'm not a serious user (mostly calls and messages). I don’t play games and rarely watch Youtube on it. Overnight with the WiFi and bluetooth off, the cell phone consumes about 40% of the battery. Does anyone have a similar problem or maybe a solution for mine? Thank you in advance

The bottom line is Sony did a terrible job with this phone. At first I really liked this phone. Then after awhile a few things just couldn't be ignored so I had to return it. First of all, no Sony phone no matter the cost should have terrible cameras. The side fingerprint sensor is erratic and slow. Stock Android, headphone port, and quality of hardware were great. The deal breaker was the screen. This has to be the WORST amoled screen I've ever owned. Coming from a Neo and before that F2 pro, the screen was a significant downgrade. Sony please do better. The SD 690 is trash

1. Size , easy to handle with one hand
2. Waterproof
3. Side fingerprint, quick and efficient, no delay
4. Stamina Battery-Perfect
5. NFC works very well with GPay
6.Update to Android 12
Cons:
1. Camera
2.Speakers
3. No DAC for Sound

If under term "shit screen" you mean oled/amoled - I agree, but if you mean color distortion on low brightness levels - it will be gone for sure, just wait updates, mine has 62.0.A.9.11 and no trace left of ugly green

otherwise their hardware is pretty good. just lacking stereo speakers aswell that where present on their midrangers before.
also OS is pretty lighr & stable being close to stock littlw to no bloatwares.

Somo people say "mine is perfect, the camera is great" and things like that, maybe for some is ok but no for me.

There is something wrong with microphone using Facebook messenger.
It' s very low. People can' t hear me well.
But in Skype the mic is fine. I hope Messenger or Sony will fix it, because I'm using my old phone when I use Messenger...
The funny thing is - there are 2 microphones, one at the top end one at the bottom uf the phone. Someone wrote that the upper mic is used to listen and cancel noise. When I talk to the upper microphone, friends tells me that I sound louder.

Are the photos on 10 III grainy, soft have dull colours, or all at once?

I like and hate at the same time, I like the stock like Android but I hate the WiFi and Network icon, common Sony just use the stock ones
It's not fair to compare this to a Flagship but, my S10e has a louder speaker and a better microphone, no double tap to wake, no double tap to sleep, if you dig enough you can find Always on Display setting in the software but Sony decide to no implement in the final version
No Dual Sense support
30 Steps for such a low speaker, really? And why the f**k it's "Volume" written in volume panel? Had to use a App to have a clean volume panel
The overall software feels lag sometimes and it's software fault no hardware
Me and some other people got luck enough to get a shit screen with weird colors and ckntrast in low brightness Dark Mode
My Xperia SP takes better photos than this phone
A side button no one asked for to access Google Assistant and no option to remap it (there's apps for this but not natively in the software)
I can spend all day talking the bad about this phone
The only thing this phones excel is the design, no oyher device can beat it feels great in the hand and no need for a case
Hope they do a better job in Mark IV but I will not buy Sony again

Then most likely its Facebook App itself is the issue. Try clearing data & cache of the app. If it does not work, dunno if theres a setting in the app to boost mic reception since I dont personally use Facebook myself but try checking if it has it or maybe in facebook Messenger App. Usually app updates causes some bugs like this.

My friends are telling me, that microphone on my 1 week old Sony Xperia 10 III is very weak when using Facebook Messenger? They can hardly hear me.
Normal phone calls are fine, but I often call to another country with messenger.
Microphone test is Ok
Can't find "noise canceling" option - it was often the problem on older Sony phones.
Anyone have an ide what can be wrong?
