Hi,
Can anybody finally confirm to have working FM radio ? Everywhere are just assumptions and no confirmation. If anybody has it working please specify phone model number (region) what FM radio app you used and what android version do you use.

It is really pain in the ass to find small phone with FM radio (i bought Samsung s10e US version because officially it has FM radio but it is not working (no samsung app and even next radio is not working (Android 11 & 12), what a crap).
Yes, i find FM radio important, especially when travelling around world.

Used a few phones over the year and always find Sony's well made great screen and easy to use

One month since I bought this phone, and in general I'm satisfied with it.
Pluses:
+ Powerful and strong battery with long life even if you play games often.
+ Fast loading and working, good colors and good sound and microphone.
Minuses:
- The camera is only good for daylight photos. At night and in low light - it fails bad. Only daylight photos looks good. In total - the camera is weak.
- You're unable to tag the photos with date/time/location, which I find a big minus. Hopefully this would be added in the near future.
- Slippery. Way too slippery on both sides, and easy to be dropped or slide down itself. It's necessary to buy silicon back or different case.
- The finger-print sensor. It's position is at the middle of the right edge of the phone, which is arguable the worst position to place it. Why? Because when you grab the phone you grab it from the sides always. That means you'd touch the sensor accidentally 9/10 times, which leads to phone locking, and often to extra 30 seconds phone locking caused of "too many attempts to unlock it" with your fingertip. That sensor should be placed on the back of the screen, IMO.
- It doesn't have screen protection, so that's another thing you need. The screen is so slippery without foil that it doesn't register clicks often - registers them as slides.
- The screen is too narrow. Way too narrow. I don't know who's idea that is, but it's absolutely dumb idea. The narrow screen makes fonts smaller and stretches websites extra from the sides.
- It was with Android 11 but recently updated to 12. Ohh, what a difference! In a bad way! The new interface is awful and all icons in under-top screen menu are some bold and big "things" which makes it look very, very bad. I hope they'd fix it as it was before, or at least give us a chance to pick which under-menu icons we prefer to use!
As I said at the beginning - in general I'm satisfied with the phone. Mostly with it's strong battery, fast loading and reacting and the big storage. Oh, and the 5G is absolutely stunning! This is the first time I'm using 5G and I was impressed by the speed!

Software is absolutely awful and the split screen feature is the worst - breaks the systems almost every time.

Adm, 17 Mar 2022My friends are telling me, that microphone on my 1 week old... moreI have the same problem, although in Line, not Messenger. My friends tell me they can't hear me. VERY ANNOYING! What I have done to alleviate the problem is buy a head phone set that has a microphone, and I can take calls, use Line, and friends can hear me. Actually pretty stupid that I had to buy such a thing to be satisfied with my phone, but I want to persevere with it, as 1. it cost decent money, 2. it is a smaller size than my previous phone (Oppo A93) and 3. the battery lasts longer than any phone I've ever owned.
There are other beefs with this phone, but . . . ho hum.

Instead of spending the same amount of money on a superior phone ( A52s,Neo, F3, etc) I should definitely buy the Sony and then spend hours upon hours online trying to find solutions for the little Sony's many problems. The best solution I found is the free return button on Amazon! Got my money back and upgraded to the A52s and actually saved a few bucks. Change your nickname to the Sony Sucker.

Please show me the article that warns people of the 2 second delay after you hit the camera shoot button. Please show me the info that warns of a sub-standard screen. And tell me where I can find info on a side fingerprint sensor that works 20% of the time. The side sensor has been around for 5+ years and Sony still can't get it right? In an era of the GT Neo, F3, A52s, this Sony doesn't cut it. I love Sony just like you, but I have to be honest. This phone is trash

Hello everyone,
I have a problem with my Sony 10 III. My battery barely lasts a day, but I'm not a serious user (mostly calls and messages). I don’t play games and rarely watch Youtube on it. Overnight with the WiFi and bluetooth off, the cell phone consumes about 40% of the battery. Does anyone have a similar problem or maybe a solution for mine? Thank you in advance
