i searched someone rumored/leaked sony 10 v will have snap 6 gen 1, 6.1 same resolution screen , 5150mah
695 has 2xA78 2.2ghz 6xA55 1.8ghz
snap 6 gen 1 has 4xA78 2.2ghz 6xA55 1.8ghz
so basicaly snap 778g but 2.2ghz for the battery economy
it will have 4k30 1080p60 i think which is good like 10 iii
maybe the snap 6 gen 1 will have a stronger gpu but the 619 is very strong too and its power it uses low battery consumption like also a configuration 2xbig cores 6xmedium cores and 695 and 480 use very little battery but only phone with 695 1080p60fps i think its nokia x30

But it wi... moresamsung low power plus node is always the best, you still see 28nm today because its samsung 28mm LLP and was used for a very long time because in tests it used the least amount of wattage also 28nm means more reliability and stability especialy in a small weak phone cpu, first gen ryzen used samsung 14nm LLP and those used 50w on 8 cores for 300$ or under when intel 8 core costed 1200$ has slightly weaker cores and used 50w per core 300w all cpu

Pitchwisse, 23 Feb 2023I find it very difficult to understand the reasoning behind... more695 as you can see in this phone has more battery life than 8xa55 6000 mah phones because its tuned by sony, and those extra reliability tuning are nice to have, stereo would be cool even if normal speakers not extra loud ones like on xiaomi those are good

as for why is it so expensive, I had some thoughts a couple comments earlier
-development costs (RnD based in Japan)
-possible weird reliability requirements that drive up the cost (not uncommon for japanese designed stuff)
-material/manufacturing costs which don't show up on specs sheets
-due to low sales volume, poor economy of scale

I find it very difficult to understand the reasoning behind some of these decisions, especially given the competition:
- A 600 series chipset instead of 700 series,
- A 60Hz display instead of at least 90Hz,
- A single speaker instead of stereo,
- A steep price for the package offered.

he has a weak signal...which should be a good signal first of all on the phone, the previous Nokia 7.2 phone was better about it.

Cannot wait for the 10v . please Sony I'm expecting to see dynamic vibration,120 Hz, stereo speakers and better software to match Sony's unique hardware system

the 778G (altho being decent) is a relatively old chipset that will not be used by Sony for sure, if their trend of picking SoCs for their phone lineup from the last couple years is anything to go by.

Sony can totally take over midrange market if they do the following for Xperia 5V:
1. Use a good chipset, minimum 778g.
2. Use the current camera setup from Xperia 1iv and 5iv, which will be replaced in 1v and 5v. Instead of ditching it completely, they can now put it on Xperia 10v.
3. 256gb option at least.
4. Keep the headphone jack, microSD card, USB 3 and waterproof as they've kept till now.

let me give you a tip:
Take this phone, keep all the goodies (battery, 3.5mm, etc), insert Snapdragon 778G 5G and give us beautiful dark blue color like L4 had and enjoy the sales. It would be a bestseller like no one remembers.

If ever there is itll have smaller battery capacity. Even samsungs newest compact flagship phone comes with a measely 3900mah battery, no headphone jack, no sd card slot, bloated oneui, etc. & they just increased prices this year aswell.

Replaced my 10.111 with this one, the 10 1V. With trepidation because the 111 was a crap phone. So figured that Sony would have taken notice of the feedback and made improvements.
Turns out they did and I now have a decent phone, but still obviously not top of the line.
The camera behaves much better but still not as good as my old Oppo. The fingerprint reader behaves much better, the screen behaves better - more sensitive, and with Android 13 it's generally a better feel.
However the main reason I bought this thing is for the battery life. While the 111 had comparitively really good battery life, this 1V is totally outstanding! Well worth trading that against other performance negatives with a mid range phone. Surely this has the longest battery life of any phone on the market?.
