From some user reviews that I read, it seems that the SD695 is sufficient for daily use (browsing, normal banking, uber apps, phone, texting, and occasionally watching videos).

I'm interested in getting this phone but I'm not certain of the processor for daily use, and whether this might last for 2-3 years of usage. Grateful if you could share your experience.

Crap phone. TOTALLY NOT WORTH the price. Go with Samsung (A54 for example) instead.
Have been using it since July - very glitchy and at times very slow. The only good thing is that the battery indeed lasts.

Super disappointing to see it being just a rename of the 10 IV which was already just a 10 III with a refreshed SoC. I'd rather get a 10 III in good condition for cheaper and still have all the features.

Sony launches cool hole-less, notch-less, pill-less phones every year, but without any effort in distribution.

I mean, it's partially because of brand loyalty, I'm never gonna switch to anything Chinese made like Xiaomi or Honor bc yeah I'm American I don't trust them, but it's like, if Samsung were to go out of business I'm never switching to Apple, it's either Sony, Motorola, or Asus for me.

A ... moreAs i write this comment i am considering "upgrading" from a Samsung Galaxy S22 to this phone. The S22 is simply atrocious with battery life. 4 hours of screen on time before it's completely dead. I don't need the best cameras, the fastest chip, or the most responsive skin. I want a phone that lasts me through my damn day

I suggest you pay $30 more and get a renewed Galaxy S22. A Snapdragon 695 and 60hz display are not acceptable at this price range. It does have a telephoto camera, but as long as it's not at least 3x optical, it's useless.

My phone is Xperia 10 III and nrxt one will be Sony again for sure. clean screen (not absolutely ugly cutout), lightweight(170gr vs 200gr others), IP68(my otherwise great Honor smartphone got damaged by light rain), last gorilla glass, fast and effecient CPU, big SOT, not scrimpy like others (has easily detachable card slot, expendable memory and 3.mm jack), not crazy expensive, 100$ more is more than justified when divided on several years. though sometimes I am in rage because its "clean" android stupidiies and prohibitions but... good job Sony, God bless you

Why is this not even a 120hz screen?? Come on Sony!!!

Hopefully Sony Xperia 10 vi will be get midrange SoC good enough later. Also if can the size will be 6.5" but with affordable price.

I'm not sure if the Pixel 4a and 5a came to my country. But the worst thing Google did was that they removed the headphone jack. I mean, come on. If they still had kept it, I would've decided to get the Pixel 8 - specially now that they'd start giving more updates.

And with Sony, it's like an old wish for me to get a Sony phone. Honestly, a SD 600 series chip is fine for my use case. I don't need a flagship. It's just that they repeated the 695 on this phone after 10 IV that messed it up. I hope they a use a recent chip on the 10 VI, maybe I'll wait for that. I wish there were a couple of simple, high-quality phones. Nowadays, if you have lesser needs, you get poor quality phones.
