Sony fan, 14 Sep 2024I don't know why everyone is so impatient for updates.... moreLMAO. It's 2024 my man, not 2006. Android and iOS didn't exist yet, and software updates for phones were a rarity back in the day.

I don't know why everyone is so impatient for updates. My Sony Ericsson W810i hasn't received a single update and has been working perfectly for 17 years

Great for mid phone android. Its like alternative option for Pixel A series. No sideload apps is important for speeding android.

Hi all. Would someone please tell me how the screen on the 10-VI compares to the 10-III?? I've seen negative "pro" reviews of the panel re: the VI. It's supposedly a downgrade from the V.
I love my III but I'm interested in upgrading due to a cracked digitizer & my battery being past its prime. Thank you!

Vqb, 27 Aug 2024stupid expensive price for a slow ass chip. The price is only that high compared to China phones, we're you get China quality experience.
Only real downside is the 60hz display.
But with 3,5mm headphone jack and micro sd + not that crazy big size you will not have much competitors.

If this phone was $299/£299 would you guys buy this phone?
Would you be worried with the slow updates?
Do you guys think this is a worthy successor to the 10 mark v?
What other alternatives would you consider in place of this phone?

I agree that the price is too high. My opinion is that it is only because eSIM, this is one of the few budget phones which has eSIM, but that makes him not being a budget phone anymore. I hope it makes sense. I noticed that cheap phones with eSIM are around 100€ more expensive, so the question is, do customers need eSIM when considering a cheap compact size phone? I don't think so, for 200€ I would buy it today...
(I wish there was a Xiaomi phone smaller than 6.4" with side mounted fingernail, NFC and memory card slot - am I asking too much?)
