Anybody who goes to a forum meant for people who are considering buying the phone just to say the product is rubbish and expensive (constructive criticism would be ok) without having tested it themselves is not going to be convinced by logic. I am interested however in which phone the said person is considering buying, as needs information about, as to direct them to the correct forum

    1. When you're buying 4K, you are paying for 4K Display, why do you want to use Full HD or QHD Display?? Makes no sense. Similarly, when you are willing to pay for QHD at 120Hz, then you should use it, not Full HD to save battery because you already Paid for that feature in first place.
    2. QHD at 120Hz consumes more battery than 4K at 60Hz. You can see the battery life of Xperia 1 with 3300mAh performed on par/ sometimes better than with FHD 90Hz mobiles.
    3. Sony 4K display is with 90Hz equivalant (they clearly mentioned it). So you are basically getting 90Hz as well as 4K. Why are you crying About 120Hz, I still don't understand. As I said again, one won't be able to tell the differece when given two refresh rate mobiles "separately" inlcuding you. Not side by side. Nobody uses two mobiles side by side in two Hands unless he is a Reviewer. Only then you will notice the difference.

    Xperia 1 10bit true or not or Software simulated doesn't matter, You will be able to get 1B Colours, that's what 10bit means. Though it might not have exact/same colours like Hardware 10bit, Software 10 bit mimics those Colours. That's what it is.

    And you still evading my Price comparison. Tell me who will spend 1070 Euros on OP8 Pro with baggage and 1500 Euros on DJ Auto focussing S20 Ultra? Don't you think Xperia 1 II even at aussmed 1200 Euros Price range makes more sense than other two?? Real life Performance, ofcourse everyone should wait and see, but I'm pretty sure even on papers, X1 II makes more sense than other chinese/Samsung mobiles.

      8-bit + FRC is perceptually identical from 10-bit when done correctly. Given the distance from your face to the screen, you definitely do not want to pay extra for a true 10 bit display if there's an alternate solution.

      Anyways, if you do want true 10 bit, to take advantage of it, you'll need to professionally calibrating the screen too or else there's really no point in getting it over 8 bit + 2.

        Just like 8gb dedicated RAM with 2gb virtual RAM won't be considered total of 10gb RAM.

          Another part is that, you can achive some colors by "flashing sub-sub pixels by diferent
          frequency". If you look on VA display under microscope (I do that) and pause signal you will see that (some VA panels etc Sony XG95 have additional square subpixels above normal subpixels) subpixels are flashing with diferent frequency to achive anothers colors. Example: when you will flashing blue color then this color is less bright and you can achive another color by mixing this with another color.
          The same you will see on plasma panels (that can do 12-bit). Hitachi and Pioneer have many patents about this.
          Sony F65 is first camera that have diamond shape Bayer RGB (with additional Green subpixel - twice pixels like normal 4K) and then Samsung make something similar in OLED displays.

            8K recording isn't better than 4k recording.

            It depends on your use case. You cant have fast auto focus if your computing that much details, hence the huge crop in Samsung's sensor when recording, the lost of stabilisation and more.

            Sony's doing the camera correctly with larger pixels 2 microns compared 1.8 on S20+ and about 10% more light with the lower F stop.

              High resolution: Its already one of the top, behind Z5 XZP XZ2P
              High brightness: current OLED material limit brightness, more voltage = brighter but burns out quicker
              Color accuracy: It's good, we are not photo editing, it doesn't need to be perfect
              RAM: This is not a desktop. Its a smartphone. Anything over 8gb is a waste of money. (what's the point if all of it is not going to be used?)(some flagships have LPDDR4X, inferior to LPDDR5)
              Megapixel: Too much MP = slower. IMX557 has a larger pixel size = more light
              Charger: Limited to prolong battery life, its already fast enough

              It's a good phone
              I just care about the experience, specs are just numbers anyways. You never know until you try one. You like it, you get it. You don't, then don't.

                  But here's the interesting part. PAINT
                  When you mix different pigments at different ratios, you get a different shade.

                  Lets say you have red and yellow paint. You mix them to make orange. Now put the orange under a microscope and see that there is no orange pigment, There was never an orange pigment. All you will see is red and yellow pigment particles. Dithering is the digital version of mixing paint. It makes sense right. (and yes, this wouldn't be necessary if the screen supported it in the first place)

On XZ3 photos are a little bit overexposed (for better dynamic) but I take Album Editor and after 5 second with "curves" I can make photo that looks much better - better contrast and exposure.

They just need to unlock it so higher refresh rate users can use 120hz combined with 1080p or 2k and ppl like you can use 4K at 60hz. Ppl who want 4k screen won't be losing out on anything and ppl who want high refresh rate won't be losing out on anything either. If you can't distinguish between 120hz and 60hz experience, that's your problem. Plenty of others can. 

                              WHY DO YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH BOTH TYPE OF USERS BEING SATISFIED? 
                              Since the panel remains the same and so does the price. 

                              When did I say 10bit is 16M colors?
                              I was replying to the guy(Lqu) who was bragging on every page about Sony Xperia 1 having 10bit display when in reality it's not true 10 bit as it outputs 16M color.
                              Xperia 1 II & Find X2 pro on the other hand have true 10 bit display.
