AlexP, 02 Mar 2020Personally, I prefer 4k display to 120hz on FHDMe too. And any regular user would prefer 4K@90Hz over FHD or even QHD@120Hz. Reason is simple we are getting much sharper quality with decent enough smoothness. Even if it were 60Hz flat I wouldn't mind but instead of completely compromising on refresh rate SONY is giving 90Hz smoothness through software and still people are complaining of not having 120Hz. I think they are not realizing that it is 4K.

Anonymous, 02 Mar 2020High refresh rates are already standard. No, you are wrong. The high-tech one will only shift to higher refresh rate when needed. It is a well-balanced! I heard this phone has Motion blur reduction feature.

If I'm comparing the scrolling on these 2 phones I see little difference, except that no difference at all.
But without comparing you don't feel the difference. It's nice to have 90hz but no one scrolls on Max speed. It's more marketing thing. Everyone wants to sell their phones and make more money

Anonymous, 02 Mar 2020High refresh rates are already standard. In my opinion, high refresh rates are not usefull in any practical way because most of the content we have today still makes out at 60hz, they just consume more battery, and don't come at me saying "oh is much smoother when you are scrolling" , well, you don't buy a phone to scroll, so yeah.

, 02 Mar 2020Why not 10,000MAH for everyone? all phones sucks at battery... morefirst of all, bigger batteries means more weight a 3000mah battery usually goes down around 47gram, when you want to triple that amount it'll become 145-ish gram, an iphone 11 pro max weighs in at 226g with a 3969mah, let's just say we double it, the iphone will become approx 275g, that's more than quarter of a kilogram.
you don't want to be carrying that around at all times.
second. bigger batteries are more prone to heating up resulting in an explosion, that's pretty much the whole reason tbh

charly, 02 Mar 2020Sony, spend more money on construction, more battery please... moreWhy not 10,000MAH for everyone? all phones sucks at battery now. or even make it solar powered. or maybe battery that can be on par with 3310 that can last forever xD it is an endless argue. just because someone made 5k mah doesn't mean everyone should. if we always demand more than what has been done, then maybe let's ask for nuclear powered devices and have nearly infinite amount of energy.

Anonymous, 02 Mar 2020I want a compact version of Mark II series i,e max 5.5" dis... moreThis is hardly a 1cm longer than the XZ Premium which had 5.5" screen while being even narrower in width. This fingerprint sensor into power button on the side is best implementation of any fingerprint scanner even better and more practical than under display sensor. The phone comes with 8GB memory.
If you are asking for cutoff version at lower budget point. Cutting off that small scale implementation of resources to produce more affordable smartphone for production is not a bad idea. But including the cost for setup required to produce that and layout for additional production lineup will not let it's price go much low. It will not be much lower than $800-850 iff this is $1200
