Hi i got the first Xperia 5 and the gallery app was from Sony. I saw that for the Xperia 1 or 5 mark II Google Photo is installed as the default gallery app. So does anyone know if we can download the Sony's gallery app from the Playstore?

Does anyone has problem with the 4g data connection. Mine keeps disconnecting from the network carrier when you use the internet, goes and comes back.... (the signal bars disappears), it happens with some network providers, because I have tried another network provider and it doesn't have this problem?

3.5... morewhy would you want to root new device? The device is still getting support for years ahead with 3 major android updates, according to news. Its not like 1 ii had lots of blotware either, sony's android is pretty much clean.
People usually only root EOL devices to get the latest features from the newer model or gain more performance from the aging SOC.

Similarly Xiaomi is okay for what it is but is no where near level of SONY XPERIA.

Also I prefer slim design than bulky design. Finally I hate the Ads in UI. One of the reasons I avoid buying chinese smartphones. For me, not even in one segment Xiaomi has upper hand over Xperia 1 II except in price.
