Performance AnTuTu: 3318 (v8)

    I have held this phone in my hands at a Sony centre. It's a ridiculously good phone (if you can afford it that is). This is without a doubt for the photo enthusiast and not for the "Mass market".

      pan, 26 Aug 2020not that hard... i have N8, and it feels like an android...... morei see, any features do you miss badly from wp phones? i've been looking for xperia now, i've tried samsung s series and huawei nova, not a fans of them, especially samsung s series, those thing really drive me insane, i like the note series but it's just way too big for me

        This one is nice Nicely put about cameras on Xperia 1 II.

          Anonymous, 26 Aug 2020how was your transition from WP to sony phones?not that hard... i have N8, and it feels like an android... xperias i have are fluid, only the miro has obvious hiccups... though wp is simpler, it is a phone that the time you pick it up, it means you know what to do, then put it down when it is done... for xperias, or androids, sometimes it makes you "play with it" scroll here and there...
          apart from that, it is not that hard... i also use z launcher to get the feel of wp on xperia...

            It's a good Sony phone undoubtedly. The only weaknesses for me are the UI, low refresh rate and battery.

                but i can still use 909 as usual cameraphone, i use web versions of some services since i can no longer install wp apps...
                N8 is still usable as cameraphone and media player... the rest are burried somewhere in my drawer...
                miro already cannot keep up with apps requirements since it stayed on ics, use as music player, poor camera though...
                z1 compact is still my personal phone, something i carry when i dont want a work related communication and when i want to travel light, no bags, just shirt and jeans, compact phone is ideal for it...
                z3 used to be my work phone, now using it as a portable wifi hotspot when no public wifi is available...
                z5 premium is my current workphone, also a multimedia phone...
                the rest are mixture of usable and battery dead phones - i just check on them once a week to once a month just to know if they are still working... at times i use one for a week...
                it wasnt a plan to collect them, but they just outlast my expectation of their lifespan and i dont want to just give or sell them away...

                        i also have sony xperia miro, z1 compact, z3, z5 premium...
                        also some of lg, asus, cloudfone, firefly mobile, lenovo...
                        guys... buy what you want, it is fun!

                                i am still holding on to z5 premium, xperia 1 ii is my next work phone... maybe :D

                                      i have better idea for your crappy xperia 5.just throw it away.just buy whatever except sony,clearly when you buy sony phones this common issues would resurfaces again. try huawei, huawei seems like going to have great future
