got my self the au version (less bundled apps) instead of docomo (which have hell of unwanted bundled apps).
Batt life - Decent, able to last a day on moderate use.
Size - Just nice!
Screen - Superb.
Camera - Surprisingly good (but so little functions).
Pro Camera/Video - Nice to have but not use oftenly.
Speaker - Very muted (low even max out).
On-Earphone - Very nice but can't beat the great old LG V20.
Charging time - wish it could be faster.
Great as secondary phone.

You may not care, but there are people who do, and that is the intended market. The Xperia Pro series is anything but average. It's called that because it has pro features. HDMI in, extra hardware buttons, toolless sim/microSD card tray, large 1" sensor. Yeah. Not gimmicks. Targeting a smaller demographic? Yes. Gimmicky? No.

Hey guys, to anyone who owns this phone, I would like to ask specifically when taking a video recording, since this device has 3x Optical Zoom, can you still further zoom digitally?
Just like how it is possible in the Camera Pro App I've seen in reviews wherein when the 70mm Telephoto Lens is used, it can still zoom a bit further until 200mm. I was planning to buy one of these from Shopee so I would like to ask this. Many thanks!

Poor customizable graphics - too few, the stereo sound mentioned isn't as effective as you would be thinking prior to your purchase, the top speaker is a bit louder than the bottom. Also the overall loudspeakers loudness isn't anywhere near impressive!!
Having no factory default gallery app and using google photos as its only option is another fact for this phone to be far below its promoted goodness

Good thing you can easily unlock bootloader then use GSI, LineageOS, etc. updated roms available for it after end of support.
Comparing them to Samsung which maybe have like 1000x employees even only for software development & have more customers using their phone meaning more $$$$$$ for R&D & software maintenance.
So yeah, Sony's Mobile Division can barely stretch out in terms of software hence they only release like 2 flagships with different sizes, 1 midrange & an sometimes extra gimmicky phone like the Pro series.
