How's the 360 audio from Tidal? is it as they say it is?

I understand this phone does NOT have 5G enabled which is why I am actually interested in it (I have health concerns about 5G and don't want to own any phone which has this capability).

I am curious if there's a way to actually confirm it is disabled like you can on the S20 (there's a setting to only look for 4G/LTE and not 5G) but I am not sure if I can do this on this phone?

        I hope this helps.

Always turned ON : Smart AOD, WIFI, Bluetooth (No MBR on until now, I have to check with that and update later).

PS: 4% battery discharged during my sleep but nothing is turned off.

The reason that they said 5G isn't supported in the US is because US got some weird specification when it comes to 5G comparing to the rest of the world and Sony didn't even bother making one since USA wasn't one of the main target of the company in terms of smartphone anymore.

I'm assuming they will disable it on a software level. I don't understand why a company would do that in the first place but they should be able to enable it at any time.

Of course that's just my speculation. I suppose it's also possible the phone just wouldn't include 5G antenna in some weird attempt to save money.

It's a flagship device though. They should have just gone all in.

Dear Sony (or whoever can answer my questions).

If I buy the Sony Xperia 1ll in US now, will I ever be able to use it in a 5G network?
Any plans to enable 5G in the USA for this phone in the future?

I was 1 second from confirming my order from the blue/yellow store (you know the store…) when I decided to check one more time the specs on the Sony product page, and confirmed, no 5G in the USA. I was shocked, over $1K, but no 5G.
I am currently using T-Mobile, and I was about to pay over $1k for this phone.
I am a loyal Sony fan; this can be my 4th Sony phone. Along the years among all my friends, and I have many friends, I am the only one holding a Sony phone. But with no 5G I am very tempted to give Samsung S20 ultra 5G a try. (did I say 5G ?)
I am not a marketing professional, or business analyst, but I Believe that no 5G in US will push potential customers away from this phone.
Please, Sony (or whoever can answer my questions), let me know if I should buy the Xperia 1ll now in hopes of future 5G, or betrayal Sony and open my arms to Samsung S20 ultra 5G ?

It's possible they manufacture those but I've only seen no name brands. I can check tomorrow for feature phones if you like.

I found this concerning 1segs, "The maximum video resolution is 320x240 pixels, with a video bitrate of between 220 and 320 kbit/s."

I've never actually seen anyone use a 1seg though. Most people don't use it as far as I know because the NHK is very agressive about making people pay a public TV tax. You see, if you don't own a TV or anything that can receive a TV signal, you don't have to pay. The tax is about 2,000 yen a month (about 20 usd).

Who knows when Sony Xperia 1 II ships in deutschland?
