But back to the main point. I have yet to see a comparison that shows a meaningful difference in high ISO quality. Show me one where the 10 II wins, then I'll believe you. Otherwise don't talk to me.

Sony shoots 4k at 90mbps
Samsung... moreLove how the only companies you people acknowledge are Apple, Samsung, and Sony. It's like you don't know anything but the big names. I've never called Samsung's cameras perfect, but there's a ton you aren't understanding here. For one, that's 80mbps at 8K24. 24 fps, vs the 60 fps that Sony uses that 90mbps for. The 80 is gonna look a lot better. Especially due to the resolution. Secondly, Xiaomi, the company you've failed to acknowledge, hits over 100mbps on their Mi 10 Pro, at 30 fps. So, better looking than the 10 II's 4K, while being smoother than the S20 Ultra's, and despite being a higher bitrate than the S20 Ultra, since it's 6 fps higher, it's not gonna look all that different.
I would ask what YOUR point is, but it's clear what your point is, and it's clear you don't understand a thing.

You even said that it's for a TV in your reply yet still failed to realize it somehow? I didn't even know that was possible.

Xperia 1 ii camera quality is natural and realistic, even it is in low light conditions.
You can compare the camera comparison on Gsmarena. By watching this comparison, you should know mi note 10 ghosting isn't a great image processing..

Even though the overall rating and review is positive about Xperia 1 II. I'm still missing the aspects like 20 fps, Eye AF, HS etc. Not too detailed IMHO.

Sony is no more in Dubai why? Even in Carrefour, Sharaf DG, E max. Cannot compete with Chinese cheap brands. May be due to lack of marketing and high price tag.

Can't wait for what Sony planned to pull with the delayed battery test for software update. But considered Xperia 1 also with 4K HDR had such small capacity like 3330mAh and still managed to score 79h in endurance test which it about 5-6 hours SOT we can expect the mk II with 4000mAh to be good

Xperia 1 II 4K recording from stock camera app can record easily over 1 hour
After 65min one of the recording functions seems to be disabled but 4K recording continues over 80min

stefano1, 30 May 2020sony xperia or xiaomi mi 10 pro?
ThanksI have the note 10, and have compared it to Xperia 1 II, overall i would say camera-wise the mi note 10 is better by a large margin, in video department because of processor it doesn't feature 4k at 60fps, and also it's weaker in CPU/GPU but it's perfectly useable for day to day use.
I'm happy with it, a Mi Note 10 with Snap 865 and little bit more slim withouth roudn corners would be perfect.

As much as I like the features, if it wasn't Android i personally wouldn't consider it, I had a Palm pre which was web os, it was good, but the aps were simply not available.

They ve managed to put an extra 3.5 mm jack, speaker amplifiers, bigger main sensor, extra iToF sensor, bigger 4000 maH battery and wireless charging coil...all that into a even more slimmer and more compact casing than last years Xperia 1.

It's one of the thinnest 4000mah phones at 7.6mm, in addition to the slim width of the phone.
A lot of people say they want a 5000mah battery, days of 16:9 phablets are gone so devices with that battery size are much thicker like lg v60 at 8.9mm. While not unwieldy - it is fatiguing.

joe nodden, 01 Jun 2020I did because they are. 60 exposure level adjustments per s... moreAnother example of your strange logic to go with the rest of your comments
You say 4k is useless, and is not noticeable on a smartphone screen. 120hz is much more needed. But then you suddenly find a use for 8k at 24fps.
So I guess you are going to record in 8k on a smartphone at 70mbps, which is heavily compressed transfer and then watch that on your 8k TV?
But recording in 4k and watching it on a 4k smartphone instantly has no use in your opinion
