By putting kilo and Mili is like saying Yes and No hahaha... 5000mah means 5ah, and not 5kmah. Because k and m cancels each other out.

Only 12 Mp the same as last gen. I do graphic design and need at least 20 REAL Mp to zoom in and get background detail. I compared The 50mp from the xiaomi 12 pro to the xperia 3 and the difference is night an day, the xiaomi having more detail also my old phone the Xperia premium 2 had slow mo camera and this one doesnt. Also the quality of an x3 can barely match that 4 year old phone in quality. Other than the new cpu and gpu. Everything on this phone is OUTDATED

Johnclinton94, 11 May 2022Why is this phone more expensive than IPhone 13 pro max? 🤔Because contrary to popular beliefs, Apple actually is more affordable now compared to everyone else. 13 pro Max starts at 1099USD while S22U starts at 1199USD and lets not even get into how expensive this phone is...

Android devices used to be drastically cheaper than Apple devices but lately I just don't see that anymore. Back in 2019 I would have recommended an android device to someone without question but in 2022, Its hard to choose. Both sides have pros and cons now so unless you're stuck inside a specific OS ecosystem, android and apple are good choices now.

The ipad is probably the best example of how Apple has gone from expensive to affordable. You'd be hard pressed to find an android tablet that is as good as the ipad for $300. The ipad has a great display, incredible battery life, and the processor would outclass anything from android for $300. This is assuming MSRP pricing only. I try not to count any special sales and only look at MSRP pricing since sales can dramatically affect something and is a temporary thing. Top it all off, in this current global economy $300 is not a lot of money for a tech product sadly. Even a lot of entry level phones start at like $200 USD...

I'm not telling everyone to go out and buy Apple products but competition among products is always a good thing for consumers and I just feel like apple has been making very competitive products lately.

Anonymous, 11 May 2022BETTER at least 🤷‍♂️....well for those who thinks SONY is d... moreYeah because a phone display will need 40mp for you to see a difference? No. I had some with a Sony alpha A7 III send me a picture for me to view on my phone and you won't tell unless you zoom in. As for apple's processors, they have an incredible processor but their features are nowhere near Sony's. 21:9 4k oled display shoots Apple out of the water immediately. Secondly, I had a 12 pro's picture and my Xperia 5's picture on a Mac display and they looked nearly identical that the 12 pro owner was confused which one was which. What Sony has an upper edge over Apple is their cinema pro app. Apple's cinema app is a joke and has 1/10 the features cinema pro has. Who has a film company? Sony, hmm well let's use those ideas and make creator pro is exactly what Sony did. I rather trust Sony in the filming industry than Apple who makes consumer products. Final cut Pro engineers are phenomenal but when it comes to sharing ideas, Apple won't do it because people will feel overwhelmed.

I hope qualcomm does something meaningful for their 8 gen 2. 865 to 8 gen 1 there hasn't been notable improvement particularly battery life and raw performance, in that aspect the bionic chips of apple are far ahead.

At 185g this is the lightest flagship out there and that too with 5kmah battery wow

BETTER at least 🤷‍♂️....well for those who thinks SONY is doing it better than SAMSUNG,camera-wise it's a big "NO"

Mathematically they are doing same thing....(only Genius in this field will understand) the fact itself is hiding market-wise 🙃.

Take it from me,big sensors with unique module set ups (undermining pixel counts) have always been the best in photo/videography world....but thinking twice, with this formula expected solutions are hard to archive except you are ready to maintain these key-pionts.

Better processor (which will spoil Sony's show, and that is why the formula works better for Apple)..;P1

Consider pixel counts (even with big sensors) besides it's an android with less superior processors(anti-bionic😂 if I may say), at least 50megapixels (the reason xiaomi mi 11 ultra triumph on DXO score board, then the Google-pixel too)..;P2

Like I said earlier...Sony with better sensors but poor pixels and Samsung with rich pixels but poor sensors 🙃🙃🙃

I was hoping they would integrate in-display finger print sensor. Sadly they didn't. what I don't like about side fingerprint is that it doesn't read when you're fingers are wet unlike in-display fingerprint.

I love how the display actually has corners! I also love the boxy bezel design! I do have a personal preference for 20:9 though

LOL, 11 May 2022Does the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 overheat easily? If this is ... morePer Samsung's 4nm fabs, the 8 Gen 1 overheats quite easily. The chip's full potential can be tamed, but very few phones have succeeded.

The Xiaomi 12 Pro, for example, is a bad example. It loses over half of its performance after a sustained load on the CPU, retaining less than 50% of the performance at the end.

But not all phones lose control of the thermals like the 12 Pro. The RedMagic 7, for example, manages to keep the chip cool enough to retain over 85% of performance.

This phone is very expensive... Unless you're looking for a OLED 4k monitor for your professional cameras, I don't really see a reason to go with this?

It doesn't even come with a charger OR a cable, like...what?! Whats next? No phone too?

I remember using EMUI when that was the staple software offered by Huawei. I absolutely HATED that skin, it was annoying and pissed me off the entire time.

However, things have changed. EMUI 10 and 11 fixed all my issues with EMUI 9. And I started properly enjoying the software. And now, I'd call EMUI 12 to be a very clean and minimalist software skin. The lag has been fixed, the icons and interface look amazing, and the phone has improved in RAM management as well.

My favorite one is still OriginOS. I haven't tried it, but the visuals look amazing.
