Sadly this 8 gen 1 cooking 🍳 processor will kill the phone joy! I had xperia 1 mark 3 and I returned it in 3 days...bcoz of the same cooking 🍳 processor problem! And at 1600$ is waaaaaay to expensive! It shouldn't have any problems at that price! The 1 mark 2(and 5 mark 2) with the sd865 are still the best from all xperias! And future updates will downgrade the power... To avoid overheating... So. Been there, done that, but not at this money! So... Waiting for the 5 mark 4 to see... Cheers

Mobilemaster, 12 May 2022The problem with wireless earbuds is that you always have t... moreHey, I've been using wireless headphones for like 1 year now, actually the ones from sony. And there are better wireless headphone's than sony's flagship ones.
Anyway, the charging is a non issue. The headphones case, for me, holds up to like 20 hours of battery for the headphones, and the headphones individually hold like 4-5 hours. I didn't test for exact numbers, but its a lot.
Unless you NEED to use the headphones on a continuous mode for many hours (over 4 or 5), so, without a break, the charging aspect is a non issue. During the break you can put them in the case, and they get fully charged in 30minutes. Again, this is the case for sony, others might do it faster, or slower but at most 1 hour break and you're toped out and can go for another 4-5 hours.
And your case, will need to only be charged once every 5 days or so.
For me personally, I only need to charge my case once every 2 weeks or so. And I use the headphones for music for around 1 hour or so per day. Or when making important calls.
The lack of cables is really a huge benefit for wireless headphones. Same reason I'm using a wireless mouse, a wireless keyboard, wifi instead of cable connection for my laptop

Now I'm wondering if my future Xperia 1 IV will fit the phonebox of the TT.
About the Xperia 1 serie disign, I just love the industrial et classy shapes, glad Sony still makes phone even if they have a tiny tiny part of the market

It definitely looks that way.It's better for Sony to keep their current design (blocky, boxy form factor) that way that has become their standout signature design since 2019 like Audi TT for 3 generations (they all have the same shape & base design until now, rounded & curvy) than to copy other common smartphone designs as we have seen on 70% brands' smartphone these days, where it's pure confusion and monotonistic.
