Thank you Sony, for keeping MicroSD and 3.5mm jack on a flagship. We need to break that ridicilous trend to remove them on new flagship. This would be my new phone if it lands on Turkey market.

I think that Sony uses recycled unsold Xperias to make their 'updated models.

So much for the leakers' information that the Xperia 1iv will have a 3x 48MP camera setup.
Fake news again.

Nice phone, for what Sony are asking for this, you might as well buy the Xperia Pro-I, I'll wait for the Xperia 5 IV (if they release one).

I really dislike the marketing of the high resolution (1644x3840) and ~643 PPI pixel density when in reality it almost always runs at a low resolution (1096x2560) at only ~428 PPI and there's no way (that I know of) to force the higher resolution. The pixels are already there, let us use them if we want.

The most unic smartphne of 2022 certainly. Notchless 4k screen, continuous zoom, high end speakers, headphone port and many other nice features...

YUKI93, 11 May 20228K is still not necessary as there's no graphic card o... moreYes there is, the rtx 3090/3090ti and the amd rx 6900/6950 can and have shown they can. 8k tvs do exist just insanely priced. The problem is most peoples screens are at best, QHD or 4k TV which is about 10% resolution of 8k (like 3.7 million pixels vs 8 million vs 33 million pixels) plus phones just aren't powerful enough or can disperse heat enough to record 8k properly (it's why phones 4k and 1080p WILL beat its 8k recording, you won't see anymore pixels and it can process the data far more efficiently).

This is a truly remarkable phone, I hope the spec sheet can live up to it's expectations, and I hope I can see Sony making more phones like this in the near future.

The Telephoto camera's sensor has shrunk into a smaller 1/3.5" size compared to last year's 1/2.9". RIP low light performance. At least now there's 4K 120 recording on all 3 sensors compared to last year but still having a smaller sensor is a turn off.
I also wished they had went with a fatter aspect ratio, this narrow aspect ratio is cumbersome.

This is a much-needed improvement over last year's Mk3, especially when it comes to the camera's photo quality. All that is left is to wait for the smaller Xperia 5 IV.
