Thank you Sony for not destroying your phones with those disgusting punch holes noches or under display selfie cameras!This is the only reason that all my family and friends only buying Sony phones.

Don't believe the people who say it's not getting hot after Android 13. They are lying and trying to justify their purchase. I got this phone new with Android 13 and it performed worse than phones with much older processors due to its overheating. Trying to play any kind of 3D game? Phone overheats and throttles and the screen goes down to 60hz. Watching a 4k video for too long? Same thing. Sometimes even browsing the web the same thing happens again and again.
And forget about using 120hz while charging the phone. One of the most important features of a phone and you can't even use it more than half the time. Wish Sony just waited for the snapdragon 8 gen 1+ before releasing this phone.
Absolutely dissapointed by this waste of money.

ssswat, 26 Jan 2023for example my rubbish xiaomi got ghost screen problem afte... moreI even have a Xperia Z3 compact prior to xz1 compact which is in a drawer. I replaced its battery and works flawlessly like day 0. Always used protection glass for the screen and case. Both of my Xperia are 100% functional.

Almost 5 years and still rocking. The only thing I miss is a good camera quality compared to nowadays standards. The snapdragon 835 is still a beast.

Got one issue when I call some one and put the speaker on the other side is hearing my voice with echo during the call

People are so focused on bezels, chin area and diagonal size that they forget how much screen area is actually presented to them between those bezels lol

Joxi , 23 Jan 2023a very long phone compared to its widthThe old XA2 Ultra has slightly more actual screen area even at the 6" diagonal (not talking overall dimensions)-which goes to show how much Sony has messed around with the aspect ratio to produce these super slim banana type phones - but practically of less use when viewing pages due to narrow width

From model to model there are differences even between the same company! Ex: s10 has better software than the s8, s9 etc. It's normal for a product to grow in quality in time. You can't compare Xperia pro-I on software camera with Samsung s9? Right? So I don't think that question is concludent to generalize. It depends from model to model. From "point and shoot" point of view, yes Samsung is faster. But from software capabilities and detailes the Xperia line has the "alpha cameras software" so more profesional and oriented thru more Profesional users. So again, it's a matter of choice, what the customer belive and choose what is better for him. Cheers.
