From model to model there are differences even between the same company! Ex: s10 has better software than the s8, s9 etc. It's normal for a product to grow in quality in time. You can't compare Xperia pro-I on software camera with Samsung s9? Right? So I don't think that question is concludent to generalize. It depends from model to model. From "point and shoot" point of view, yes Samsung is faster. But from software capabilities and detailes the Xperia line has the "alpha cameras software" so more profesional and oriented thru more Profesional users. So again, it's a matter of choice, what the customer belive and choose what is better for him. Cheers.

I'll answer from my point of view: I have a big collection of Sony Ericssons brand new boxed, Walkman and cybershot! Incredible legendary phones! And Nokias {e52} and Motorolas{old phones}. I also have an xz premium, xz1 compact and a Xz2 6gb ram version! Great phones! But also I have a note 10+ and a s10+ both sd855 versions! I love those phones also! No iPhone though. It's a matter of taste as I said earlier. I'm 40 years old and I lived in all phone times, old and new. I like very much on a phone to have: no notch, no hole> full screen!{on Samsung I use an old app to cover the holes}, Jack, SD card, a camera {normal one, no biggie} and a great/good battery! So the great battle is between operation systems = Android and ios! So to summarize my answer = it's a matter of user experience and taste! Every phone company has it's consumers! I see Sony growing up step by step with Xperia Pro-I and Xperia 1 mark 4 series! I'm waiting the next year phones to be very good ones! Don't forget about Nokia and Motorola! They were fighting Sony Ericsson neck by neck in the old times! When iphone wasn't on the market yet/still. Cheers and stay safe!

Well, it depends on how sony optimize the System... high PPI and Resolution eats lots of battery plus paired with this lenses with actual or physical zoom...
BTW: its price is a Good Choice with this specs compare to other brand were overpriced..

I love the perfect whole screen with no holes in it, SD card, jack, form factor, cameras, battery! A very good phone! It will worth the waiting and the money for sure!

The other side who's am call hearing an echo and some noics during the call
I did update it to android 13
Did factory reset but still the same
any solution for dar?
