Additionally, Samsung stole several technologies (e.g. from Pioneer), slandered HTC for money, and people in its factories died of leukemia. :|

Alright, it's November and Autumn, so the Video Pro mode (probably either solely Video Pro, or maybe combination of both Video Pro and Cinema Pro?) returning to Xperia again, probably with Android 15 update, should commence this month according to the promise update when Xperia 1 VI was unveiled 6 months ago 👀

You do realize that samsung screen is bigger and it has spen built in which is insane in such tiny body?

Do note, however, that the Pixel 9 series offers 123 degrees too (with the Pixel fold going as high as 127 degrees). Similarly, 120+ values for the Pixel 8 series.

                Ouestion?
I'm looking forward to to mark 7. So I browsing there old products. The ultra wide camera confused me. This one says 16mm 123 degree. Mark 4 says 16mm 124 degree. I've tried some calculators. The highest they say is 107 degree for 16mm full format(35mm) equivalent diagonally.
We know diagonal is the highest. Phone's from other companies don't give more than 120 degree even though they are less than 16mm. And most phone's reveal the diagonal.
Is it using fisheye, cinamatic/anamorphic or some other techniques?

O well, maybe this device isn't for me as I'm not too much into taking pictures.

When you press your finger against the display, your position is by no means comfortable, safe and, at the same time, you tend to move the phone. But you've done it so many times that you forget to feel these things. Well, the guys from Sony haven't. Have you noticed that, with this year's offer, Apple have "invented" a similar button, but they went for a capacitive solution? Brilliant, such novel invention!

                    Samsung Galaxy S24 Utra> 162.3 x 79 x 8.6 mm 5000 mAh - 232 g

                    This is what I'm comparing.

3 years of upgrades and 4 years of security patches is fine for me.

As for style, considering your tone, I have my doubts you can actually understand it, let alone feel or live it.

The video quality went down from 2500*1096, all the way to 2300*1080. And the same 12 megapixels lens. Nah, no thanks!

                            Highly debatable.

                            2. Superb ergonomics and aesthetics. The phone stands out. Yet, the design is dicreet.

                            Highly debatable as well.

                            3. SD-card slot, 3.5 jack, front-facing gorgeous speakers, continuous, no-cutout display.

                            Highly debatable as well.

                            4. Real, mechanical two-step dedicated shutter button, no capacitive gimmicks.

And what's the actual advantage over the screen button for example?

                            5. About 25 grams lighters than other flagships, and you do sense the difference.

What are you comparing exactly? It's one of the smallest devices across flagships it supposed to be lighter lol. Samsung Galaxy S24+ 6.7 inch weighs almost the same. Apple iPhone 16 Pro 6.3inch screen with titanium body weight almost the same. I can't find any true flagship which is heavier 25 grams with similar screen.

The real question does this phone offer similar OS upgrades period like similar priced flagships? No, lol. Does it have cool features such as "aqua touch" which is more likely to be more useful to more people than "mechanical button"? No as well. Sad

The phone is beautiful. But it has the same three 12 megapixels cameras ___ 2 on the back and one in the front for years now. The selfie camera should had been upgraded to at least 24 megapixels. Other phones have even 64 megapixels selfie cameras.

And it's the first ever smarphone which allowed me to do so, and it's all due to the powerful camera and battery life.

I keep looking at this model for years but could not buy it despite my flagship promiscuity and endless love for traditional sd card, jack and (now missing) notification light. My problem is lack of productivity. I hate vanilla OS where there's nothing to do. I need to extract text from screen, translate, identify objects on camera, scan a document, trigger camera by voice, have basic apps for media, search all sort of items (from files to calendar) etc. I didn't see any of it on vanilla phones like OnePlus, and most likely won't see it on Sony. There are just 3 productivity addons: multiwindow (normal), sense UI (rather cool to move notification roll to the middle) and eye detection (cool -- noone else figured out to keep the screen on while phone is in hands, Samsung uses stupid camera detection which doesn't work at night). I can't buy an expensive phone because of Smart backlight control. Samsung has tons of such functions.
