Hey guys I am not facing any battery drain

Battery drain in standby/idle is not uncommon for Xperia phones unfortunately. 1.5% is around the average for a Sony phone. My Xperia 5 drains around 2% an hour, shocking. This drain is confirmed by Notebookcheck website. Some older Xperias, like my XZ are way better.

Try checking in battery manager which app keeps constantly eating the battery, its probably some 3rd party app that you installed thats acting up.

So I got this phone recently. Really wanted to like it, but the few downsides to this phone really got to me and I decided to return it.
                  Downsides:

-Selfie camera is REALLY bad. I mean like midrange levels from a years ago. For some reason It always looks like it has some weird filter enabled even if you turn it off in settings. And it's not like you can adjust it with the Manual Mode controls, that's only available for the main camera.

-There is a considerable heating issue, however, to me it was more of an annoyance than major problem. It gets fairly hot while charging so I don't recommend using while charging. In normal use, it can get quite *warm* but I wouldn't say actually hot.

If those were my only 2 gripes I would have kept this phone. But then some other issues arose.

-I am not sure who to blame for it, either Sony or the OS itself, but It's not the most optimized phone. It is very fast for sure, but it seems apps close fairly frequently. Also this is just a complaint for Android, as I'm coming from an iPhone, but I also feel like most of the apps I use on it just aren't well optimized on Android compared to iOS.

-I updated the phone to Android 12, which is my biggest regret and the main reason I'm returning it. It majorly ruined the battery. On Android 11, I was getting upwards of 11 almost 12 hours of Screen on Time. On Android 12, I can pull maybe 7 hours. That's still decent, but it's still disappointing at how poorly optimized it is, and how good the battery COULD be if I never updated it

Those are my main issues with it, It's a really good phone on paper but the selfie camera is a major let down. If you don't mind the selfie cam, and can get the phone at a large discount like half off (I got mine for 650$) I would recommend it.

+Also I was using an international model on T-Mobile and got decent signal if anyone was wondering

I got mine from amazon for $800 after returning the wireless earbuds it came bundled with. I would have gone for the cheaper intl version, but I needed the US version of the handset so I could have access to all the available bands for 5G on tmobile in the US.

So far, so good. Even with the latest android 12 update. No major issues to report."

They need to step it up for the next version...they just keep doing the same thing.. its getting stale

This phone has serious issues that made me personally skip it:

                                  1. Phone heats up while playing, when you exit the game is so hot that it cannot even handle 120hz in the OS, and it dorces 60hz for 3 minutes.

                                  2. The audio from the speakers is bad, and at only 50% volume, the phone vibrates in your hands (dynamic sounds off).

                                  3. Many apps and games are not played in fullscreen and you have black bars, this would not be a big deal, but the phone is already small I don't want smaller. Also volume buttons are too mushy.

Phone gets very hot, starts lagging, and battery drops massively in a short time.

Sony imo are making phones just because they have to. not for the user experience.
