Anonymous, 28 Aug 2015Had this phone for almost a year!!fairly alright phone but ... moreI was enjoyed the phone when it's beginning, but after 4 month alot of problem. Internal memory is very poor, proximity sensor is poor, the result we cut the call after only opposite call end, it's bad experience with E3 and also if once switch off the mobile it process Going to not end, it means it shows shutting Down but never switched off. First time Very very bad opinion about Sony. Front camera clarity is worst even VGA, not concern, very very bad mobile from Sony

I am very happy with my E3,after rooting I can play high end games likes Asphalt 8(no lags),Modern combat 4(no legs),GTA3(no lags),Gangster vages(small lag while day night change),Nova 3(no lags).My E3 can handle many high end games with no lags

I recently bought the e4. i personally own a e1 too. i have used the e3 as well.
well so far i used for 3 days no problems so far.
i will compare e4 and e3.
1. Display - e3 has a slightly more vivid display than e4 and also e1.but the dimensions of the display make e3 look ugly.massive bezels. personally to tell the truth e4 has a better homescreen layout than even m4,although it is qhd.
sunlight legebility is same as e1.also there is a yellow tint on the e4 display. which is noticeable only on white backgrounds.
2. performance-e3 is powered by a snapdragon 400 .e4 by a chinease mediatek chipset.mediatek is not bad.both have same performance. I faced no lags so far on the e4.
3.GPU-capable of running normal games.even highend games like Gta sandandreas works fine on both phones.
4.storage- i would recommend the e4 as it has 4.8 GB of usable storage on first boot.while e3 has only 1.7 GB.
5. camera- e4 has a 5mp f/2.6 rear camera.and 2mp f/2.8.the camera is better than both both e3 and e1. i dont know how because f value is much more smaller in e3 and e1.
samsung s6 has f/1.9 an sony m4 and z3+ f/2, e1 f/2.5 lens.
e4 has good pics in night with flash and withthought flash.but daytime pics didn't have good colors and detail compared to lumia 530.it is ofcourse better than than e3 and e1.
6. if you want you can update e3 to lollipop via custom rom.but e4 will not be upgradable to lollipop because of the mediatek cpu.
7.battery -e4 has better battery life than e3 alteast on paper.I am not impressed with battery life i feel both e4 and e1 has same battery life.but gsm arena says 59h endurance rating for e1 and 88h endurance rating for e4.and e3 67h endurance rating.
well both phones take more than 2.5 hours for full charge 0-100%.
8.design- e4 looks like a lumia and a galaxy phone as it is curved.but e3 looks like the z3.but crappy and ugly screen dimensions on e3.if e3 had smaller bezels and an 4.6inch screen i would have bought it over the e4. e4 also looks cheap.e3 looks grand and expensive.
other facts-
you will definitely have to buy a tempered glass protector for e4 as i have seen screen cracks even on minor falls on youtube.and e4 is slippery.
i think it is better use both phones before buying.
i cant really tell to buy either.both have strengths and weaknesses.
