phone is not so bad....
mine works good...
1) best part is battery...worst part is camera ( for me...)
2) not for gaming...
but played temple run & subway surf etc...(LAGS in SD card but WORKS FINE if u install it to phone memory)
3) playing HD vido is having problm
4) also some says confernc call and proximity sensor having problm...but i have not having any problm
but i really want to mention

i just bought this phone for its battery rating and affordability. with regards to its lagging issues, i installed advanced task killer pro and observed that it's not that lag anymore. if you're not a heavy gamer or something like that, this mobile is for you. what do you except from a midrange smartphone, you'd better look for other mobile phones that simply suits your wants and expect the price that goes with it.

The Xperia J specs with the slightly bigger screen don't cut it for me against the Sola, In Australia the J costs $AU205+ and the Sola $AU179 at the moment. Here the J is a useless release and surpassed in specs and price from within it's own family, how silly is that Sony!!!

Ok people..
all those who r critisizin this phone remember..this phone is projected as a multimedia device by sony and not an epitome of processing power. Light multitasking is fine, but lots of open apps slow the device down..
That said, this device is great at what is was set out to do..be a multimedia freaks dream phone..yes..a 4 inch razor sharp display and awesome sound quality for 17K..quite the bargain. It plays video's beautifully and even though it has poor codec support, its video playback is nothing short of awesome.
Web browsing is fast and intuitive on the large display
and for heavens sake..when ur pals look at ur phone, they aint gonna see a 1GHz processor or a weak GPU
What they'l see is a stunning design.
Bottom line: Gamers..please look elsewhere..
Audiophiles and multimedia freaks...look no further!
I own the device btw..unlike many speculators out there only putting potential buyers off..
