sony has certain compramises with this phone
Just TFT sCREEN
Vga front camera
No corning gorilla glass
Otherwise phone is good but not best

xperia L has a little better cpu than lumia 720. Xperia L - msm 8230 with 1gb ram. Lumia 720 msm 8227 with 512 mb ram.

U can download the white paper for a detailed info.
And no not all android phones have such limitation.it's up to the manufacturer.

But there are many office apps available in Google Play Store to download. Kingsoft office is available for free with editing capability for words, excel and presentation files. (pdf editor? since when MS office can edit pdf? You mean ppt?). Usually Sony provides Officesuite app preinstalled, but you need to download the pro version to get editing features. It's not free in Play Store but.... google search to get it fr##

I have never seen any android running device mentioning "system storage" capacity when settings>storage has been clicked.
Have you?
It always started with either "Phone memory" or "Internal storage".
