The phone is nice physically, but in performance, I think it would be the opposite.
There are already quad-core phones coming on the way and it is not even dual-core.
And a 5mg camera is a big disadvantage of the phone, now new phones are 8 or 12 mg camera.
No bravia engine would be a be big mistake of Sony.
Xperia neo used to be a flagship of se, but the
problem is that whenever se (Sony) makes a newer version
of neo, they make it worse. Neo v is worse than neo in camera, and now neo L is worse than neo v in display and
camera (video).

their is no extra ordinary work did by sony, they have copied same futures from neo v, only differences are:
Slim, battery backup is bit good and enhancing display from 3.7 to 4''.
But dis advantages comp to neo v are:
No FM
No Sony Mobile BRAVIA Engine.
I still recommending to go for Neo V, which is very good mobile wit respect to smart phones

Look at the Samsung Galaxy Ace to Galaxy Ace Plus, similar upgrade, I believe Sony is on Par or even better (4" vs 3.65" screen) with competidors

I like the phone. I totally disagree with the others, who compare it with Neo V or Arc (S). I chose my current phone because of theese 4 physical keys - and it's Play R800i. The phone itself is smart overclocked to 1,5 Ghz and downclocked do 135Mhz on demand. The performance is very decent and battery lasts almost two days while listening to music in background. I know, that dual core is very mainstream and awesome, but think also about the price. They made that phone to be useful and productive, but not chic and pricey. Theese people who liked PLAY, but the slide-out gamepad wasn't useful for them, now can choose Neo L and be happy with less weighted, but still beautiful smartphone :)
