Jellybean will be releasing Tomorrow or Monday for sure! Contacted Sony. Unlikely Xperia P won't be updated beyond 4.1.2 so it's a dead end for Xperia P. Sony Phony

[deleted post]Your phone didn't die doesn't mean that it's water proof..... It's unibody construction (not exactly but at least it has almost no gaps) probably saved it. Next time dont use the phone right out of water. Turn it off and put it under a table light for at least 12 hours to dry off..... dont take chances.....

Hi guys :) I just wanted to know how the battery life on the phone is and does the phone lag? So far i had my mind set on the Xperia J but changed mind because ive heard that it becomes slower with the update to Jelly Bean. RAM is also low compared to the the Xperia P.

                        So please answer my question.

Anonymous, 09 Apr 2013Nah wrong dude, my apps is stored in my internal memory. Do... moreCan you explain it a bit?

In Sony Xperia terms 'Phone storage' refers to 2 GB of memory which is default for application installation, and 'Internal storage' refers to 12 GB of memory in /sdcard folder (what would be memory on physical SD card on smartphones that have ability to install it).

No one could stop you to transfer all your programs to 'Internal storage' (12 GB), (in the "old days" you would need application called 'App2SD' but with Xperia P you can do it in the Apps tab in Settings, without additional application) but not all the programs would work correctly (these programs usually warns you about this during installation or in description on Play Store) and they would still use (although small) part of Phone memory.

Anyway, most of the programs on Android are average size of 5 to 10 Mb, so you can install lots of programs without hitting the 2 Gb limit, only high end games and offline GPS apps use extensive amount of memory (100 GB and more) so it's wise to move them to 'Internal storage'.
