Hi all, I have a question aboout this Experia 'P' after reading some specification i found something that i dont understand clearly - 'non-removable' battery - is this mean that after battery lifecycle is come to end the telephone become useless?? Can someone please explain me what is that mean?? Thanks ;)

How can you be so sure about that? It is very likely that Xperia P will get 5.0.

"After a month we will get JB. After tht as usual Sony will varnish this phone from future updates. Which means no 4.2 or Key lime pie update for this phone!"

Taz26, 04 Mar 2013After a month we will get JB. After tht as usual Sony will ... moreKey Lime Pie probably will be a 720p exclusive thing...... And new updates are not always good. Increase in fragmentation will lead to app incompatibility.....

Dude.... go to eBay.in and buy Xperia P for 17K..... like I did....
Sola is a crap..... I myself waited two additional months to get P ( initial choice was Sola).
Btw, maybe you can buy the Micromax Canvas HD. Best VFM phone.....

AnonD-120100, 04 Mar 2013I don't have enough money right now to buy xperia P. I have... moreDon't buy Xperia U, it has only 512mb of RAM, for sure it will lag. 1GB RAM and up is the ideal for a smartphone.
The U screen is only 3.5", it will be a strain to your eyes staring at this small screen. 4" and up is acceptable.
Xperia U SAR is 1.62 W/kg compare to Xperia P SAR is 0.78 W/kg, lower SAR means less radiation to your brain during a call.
The thicker the phone the uglier, U=12mm.
The thinner the phone the sexier, P=10.5mm

Additional points with Xperia U is the 8MP camera, NFC and higher internal memory of 16GB.

                Save your money and wait.

Do not regret - the .75 update do not fix camera but, nor the .89. The only solution is JB update... If you still wanna to update to .75 - search in xda forums and download .75 in ftf format and then download and install flashtool - this way you can put .75 that is not currently available for your phone.

Anonymous, 04 Mar 2013Hi I heard that Sony releases new firmware update 6.1.1.b.1... moreTake notice that when new update arrives it's not available worldwide at once. It's released in different regions on different time, and beside, telecom operators locked smartphones receive update when they test new firmware with their proprietary content (usually bloatware :-) ).

Also, higher firmware number doesn't always mean newer firmware, it might be something specific to some region or operator.
