It hangs everytime I answer the phone when someone is calling. Ive been experiencing this since I bought it last june 2013. It fixed the problem when I reupdated the OS, but acting up again. Please help.

i am using this phone since august 2013 best phone no problem and you can also connect usb or sd card through otg cable camera result is awesome than other first learn how to use camera than post your opinion many people have its flash problem in night or dim light so turn it to party mode and ev must be 0.3-1 than take the photo with flash battery is not so weak but if you turn off your phone and recharge it from 0-100 it takes hardly 60-70 minutes

Sony Xperia P is very nice. Most of people here writes something like bad battery or similar. If you configurate it correctly it works nice. My Xperias battery works 2-3 days with no problems. Nice display, bright display and honestly 4 inch is just enough. Not to big not too small. Don't be stupid. Learn to use phone and then say something about the phone.

you realize that this phone came out in 2012, right? for a 2012 phone i'd say its decent. plus the screen is way brighter than any of the mainstream phones out right now. so be nice...? what if some girl told you that you were too thick and ugly? :P hmm...

guys...dont buy this phone..the crappiest phone of all...it hangs up..touch doesnt work..shit phone..worse than nokia...

Anonymous, 16 Mar 2014can i update my phone 4.4 os by root plz tell me..... In order to install any custom ROM you need to root your phone.
If You want to install custom Xperia P ROM based on KitKat, you will also need to unlock your bootloader (via official Sony pages).

Anonymous, 11 Mar 2014how can i back my old OS version ? 4.0You can downgrade your OS by finding appropriate firmware file and installing it with Flashtool (files and instructions can be found on xda-developers forum).
If you have problem with your current firmware, I can recommend you to install Honami MoonWalker v80 by following instructions in Xperia P developers thread on xda-developer forum, it's much better then latest official firmware.

P.DEEP, 10 Mar 2014can i update my phone after 4.1 os?Currently OS 4.1 JellyBean is latest official OS, without much hope to get any newer OS upgrade.
There is unofficial 4.2 KitKat ROM but it's still not fully functional, and it can be installed on unlocked and rooted Xperia P by following instructions on xda-developers forum.

I had a problem with the battery. The program Contacts worked nonstop and spent it in a very short time. I reinstalled the operating system and the problem disappeared.
