But some adamant fools just won't get it, as they can never really think beyond Samsung's quadcore/its spec sheet/features.. let alone trying the real world performance and comparing it with say SXS or others!
I feel that SGS3 is best samsung smartphone till date (Nexus being just as close) but people just get caught up in all the overhype created by fansites/blogs!

Just went to smartphone cafe , the price is 28,700/-.
And they are giving insurance+ goodies.
Sony just like samsung wants to make its mark in the mobile industry.
And definitely it will give tough competition . We all can se how they entered with xperia S 'amazing phone'.

I bought this phone. It's benchmark is 3,300. S2 just score 3000 or less

sony is any time beeter than samsung coz samsung dont provide more than 4x zoom which is bad

This phone is not as much good if we compare to SIII so better go to SIII if we compare with price also.

We c... moreDid you try them both, coz i got them both and i just want you to know i chose to use the xperia s, and its simply to tell... first, xperia s is really looks nice ( for me). S3 UI looks cheap FOR ME, I always watching video and I really like the bravia engine (even you dont believe) with more natural colors than SAMOLED. I always listening music in my Xperia S and sound is superb, camera shot of SXS is the best for me. The only thing I like to S3 is its faster when i used for web browsing. By the way, I have a tablet and that's i always use for web browsing..

I have upgraded my phone to 4.0 ICS I dont like it at all
So
1- how can I switch back to 2.3.7 OS.
2 - will I loose my data if I switch back.

its not all about HARDWARE..consider the features also..you don't need a very high end hardware since phones are upgrading each year. As long as your phone do well(no lags, smooth UI and wide variety of features) it is enough already. and I guess what makes samsung S line up beautiful is thier screen. but it doesn't mean it out performed every handset on the market.

When you set a brightness level that will be your minimum brightness and the phone will scale it from there. Also it outputs much different values than most phones allowing for less flicker, you shouldn't even notice the change. The auto brightness on SXS works great and if you don't believe me get ahold of an SXS and go into the service menu. Test the light sensor and you will see it does have autobrightness.

1. Gorilla Glass is a marketing scheme. If it is soo good then why do iPhone break all the time. Gorilla glass will shatter just like any other glass. It depends on the factors relating to the drop not the glass. Also the thickness is the big thing that will protect the glass.
2. The battery on the Xperia S has gotten much much better with the updates that have fixed the drain. Sites need to retest with .73 update and up in order to see true battery life.
3. Only certain models of S2 have NFC and it is hard for the basic user to figure out which do.
4. MHL is a joke, a full hdmi port is far superior. You have to have an extra dongle with MHL that must also have an external power supply to work. Also there is no way to do USB otg while using MHL which rules out using an external drive to store large movies and files.
5.Xperia S has secondary mic for noise cancellation and the sound quality is one of the best on the market.
6.Xperia S has much better build quality then samsung devices which feel like children's toys.
7.The screen on the SXS is amazing compared to the S2 screen. Amoled sucks for whites and the colors are far to over saturated.
You are obviously the fanboy here and anyone who bought a S2 over the SXS is a fool. If anything buy the Galaxy Nexus because it is the best Samsung device right now besides the S3 simply because it is built to Googles specs.

I have SXS for last three months (now updated to ICS 4.0.4) and have no problems with it! HDMI works flawlessly for me.
Also, you said:

I would like to inform you that:
1) SXS also has active noise cancellation which works pretty well too, you can see an extra mic at the back, below the loudspeaker.
2) With the ICS update SXS now has FLAC support too, along with better divx/mkv support inbuilt (Movie app).. but i prefer MX player which plays all 1080p xvid/divx/mkv flawlessly!
