I didn't like the design of this. Wasted space in the bottom. I liked the Arc S more.

This phone seems to have the same problem when recording a video in quiet environments (so-called "cicada noise"), same with Xperia Neo.
I'm so disappointed about this cause I realy wanted to buy this phone. I don't understand why the putted a very cheap microphone in a phone which price is about 600 €. SONY makes mistake after mistake. So sad.
I hope they fixed that within upcoming phones.

            P.S. sorry for my english

I reckon this dual core will be good for a 2 year contract. As I see it, quad core will only be needed if Android 5 (jelly Bean) brings in a proper desktop mode for tablets and 4.6" and bigger, high end phones to connect to large screens. My guess is that these 1st gen quad cores at Barcelona are not going to make the grade. To be proper desktops they need 2 gig memory. I also suspect they are missing key hardware and connections to dock properly and that's why the Galaxy s3 is postponed. It will have the connections and memory to go the extra step... I just want a phone to fit in my pocket and for me the Xperia S ticks all the boxes. What do you think?

I really hope they'll have a good turn-over this year, because smartphones like this should not become a rare attempt at innovation, but welcomed as a standard

Comment there is quite cynical in fact

Check the posts below on my comments on its battery life

It's not the best out there, but it's nowhere as hopeless as you make it sound

8h52min on browsing, video, text, phone, photo and music with screen on 75% brightness before dropping to 4% is good enough for me

Having 32GiB of internal memory is good enough for most, and the internal memory speeds are faster than any SD cards out there to support the high speed camera capture features of the phone, similar to the Galaxy Nexus. Using a slow to mid end SD card will just slow the phone down and drain even greater amounts of battery

If you're worried that much about storage space, just use BOX to transfer data onto the cloud. You get 50GBs worth of it with Android anyway

Even when 20.8GB of memory for purely videos alone, I can store more than a few movies like Star Trek XI, Aliens VS Monsters, an Episode of Gundam UC and 2 Episodes of Top Gear Season 18 and many other small video clips + my own video recordings in a mix of 720p and 1080p and top it off with well over 2000 pictures from my digital camera and place a music collection of 1700 pieces in

For the record, no SD cards are as fast as the internal memory of the XS, not even class10 microSDs
