Its a single core phone, with adreno 200 gpu.
But comes with android 4
Sola has a 3.7 inch screen, dual core, mali 400mp gpu (equivalent to adreno 220, thus better than adreno 205)
currently in adroid 2.3 but android 4 is soon to be released for xperia.
Sola also has floating touch and NFC sense.
Get sola, you wont regret it ( i have it)
stay with the newer generation (dual core and powerful gpu)

Aww, hearing about that 3G,HSDPA & EDGE problem..tsk, I live here in Calamba and planning to buy this Phone

tinfu, 01 Aug 2012hi shino03,likewise here i dont have any 3G signal in my so... more@Tinfu, I also went to the Xperia store in Rob Ermita and they just shoved me off to the globe store there which is just nearby.(They blamed globe for the lack of 3g, edge, and hsdpa signals on my phone) I stood up for half an hour there just to know that my sim card is working properly and that it is the reception on my sola which has problems.
I think the sales clerk on the Xperia store in Rob Ermita is oblivious of the problem. They even don't know the difference between the firmware(build number) and android version. I asked one of the sales clerk if I could know the firmware of the Solas they're selling there and he said it is on gingerbread.
I'll try to update my phone this weekend and see if it works. I hope it will but if not, I'll go to MOA in their service center(I can't replace my unit anymore as the store where I bought my Sola has only a 3-day replacement policy which sucks big time)

I rate this fone 7.5 i like most of its features. The only con i have for sola is the sms messenging feat. its a bit tricky. But i have installed Go sms and Go keyboard now problem solved. U can also try dloading Easy battery saver and Easy task killer for less utiliZation of battery and apps in the background.

I'm using globe. @tinfu, it is possible that you just need to change your Network setting to "WCDMA ONLY" with the default setting I only get GPRS on guadalupe. Since the phone detects the best signal. Where GPRS=GSM has full bars, and 3G is not full. So I need to force it to 3G

my sola is tottaly dead. The touch screen isn't working, my boss is calling me but i cant recv d call, due to unresponsive screen...its ringing besides me..its truly fraustating...i'v given up my hope nd just got a nokia x2-02 as my backup phone. . I'm an old customer of nokia, nd i should stick with them, sola is my last and first phone of sony in my life. Goodbye sony.
