I bought this phone DEC 31 2012, and absolutely love it, better then any phone ive ever had ! love the texting, love the screen, and wifi on it is great. i think the camera could be a bit better as it doesn't take the BEST photos, but its still a good camera. other then that i LOVE THIS PHONE, i would recommend it.

rick, 27 Jan 2013i have upgraded ma u to 4.04 it okey so far but am having ... moreFurther to my advice to try AirDroid, I can confirm even better news: if you're on a laptop and stuck without wi-fi that allows AirDroid to work properly (e.g. in a hotel with very locked down network) you can use the wi-fi hotspot function on the phone in conjunction with it, and effectively set up your own private wi-fi network for it. Turn on the wi-fi hotspot, connect to it from your laptop or other wi-fi device, run AirDroid and connect/transfer as usual! Fully tested with Xubuntu Quantal and Xperia U with ICS 4.04.

WAX, 28 Jan 2013there is no plastic film on the lent.Amazingly, some people have reported that updating firmware can fix the "purple spot" symptoms. Worth a try before sending it back, anyway. Not all examples of the phone suffer from the problem though.

this is a really great phone. the most coolest part about it is the colour changing lights in the bottom transparent bar!!:-D
the only thing that's a major put-off is the absence of a card slot. i wish there was more memory on board :-\ :-(

Settings -> Power Management -> check Extended Standby Mode.
If not, maybe you should upgrade to ICS. I don't remember if there was an option like this in GB :/
