AnonD-43136, 28 Nov 2012If ICS is more demanding on the battery then why does a liv... moreYour answer lies in the bug fix that is due to xu and live has already got it...once it was not released for live,it was also devouring the battery...and the xperia u is a wonderful phone...no bug in my and few of my friends xus.. .

      Which phone is better xperia u or HTC one v?? I m using xperia u.. But I want a phone with bigger screen in the same range. So plz give ur suggestions. I'll really appreciate.

          the phone is working brilliant but only issue is it shows only 300 mb of total ram in mobile instead of naerby500mb of ram . but anyway video @ picture quality is exellent

                My touch screen s nt responding wel rarely. Mainly at top right corner. No problem found in touch screen test. Pls help

                  Anonymous, 28 Nov 2012hey can v swicth back to 2.3(gb)???Per below, officially downgrade to GB is a Sony Service Centre operation only, for which they may charge. It is possible to root and flash the ROM if you have a copy, but this is likely to invalidate any warranty.

                    jhun, 28 Nov 2012any idea when can we upgrade it to 4.0(ice cream sandwhich)?if you cant wait for the official one. flash it with st25a's but it'll end your phone's warranty.

                              Great little phone have been using sony phones for about 8yrs now give or take six month using an htc wildfire.
                              Purchased the xperia u 1 month ago....
                              Excellent phone sleek fast and very reliable so far...
                              camera takes great pics n video... omly down side is no micro sd slot but 4gb on board is workable
                              all in all great little smart phone with an affordable
                              price tag...

                                        AnonD-43136, 28 Nov 2012If ICS is more demanding on the battery then why does a liv... moreA fair question :) ICS does add some power-saving features (specifically one that turns off all network activity while sleeping), that depending on one's usage profile, may result in better battery life. I eked about 3.5 days out of my first post-ICS charge on the XU, whereas 2 days was more typical on Gingerbread. However when the phone is actively in use, it seems to drain power slightly more quickly, probably reflecting the memory management struggling as described.
