Love the phone,comfortablely holding in hand. Nice screen with Bravia technology & smooth operating . So far no laggy or auto reboot occurred.
The only drawback : Shuttle key,try not use full finger to press it,instead,use your fingernail to operate and that would be easier to launch the camera.Other than that no biggy.

I have this phone and i think the battery is suck compare with my Nokia 5800 before with the same usage experience. This phone max lasting for a day only. Did anyone can share your xperia u phone battery experience with me here?

for those thinking of buying a new sony NXT (S / P and U) and are concerned with the speaker sound so do not buy because the sound sucks,
tried them all and the sound of the xperia arc s is better

The coming Xperia Go has lower specs with only 480x320 screen. Same 8 Gb memory as U, but has micro SD card ! Obviously Sony realized it was a mistake not to have memory card...So don't buy U get Sola or wait a little bit for the coming phones.

I have heard about and seen video samples taken from Xperia U. It looks like the video quality is bad with lot of aggressive noise reduction and pixelation. I think it is software processing. So my question is if I buy this, will Sony be able to improve the video quality via a software update?

I hope the music player reads music from external usb mass storage too (flash drive) prevent it's limited user-accessible internal.

I bought this phone yesterday n this is really amazing phone but having 2 problem
1) How to close running application.?
2) for taking snap camera button on screen work well but camera button give on side for clicking n taking pic doesn't work.

AnonD-35537, 22 May 2012hi sandeepaustin, you look to me the right one who can answ... morehello .i would like to tell you that i have used nokia 710. biggest problem i noticed was you cannot share your files .and to download contents from your pc you need to download a additional software from the nokia site .and its a bit annoyimg software .it tooked me a week to work properly with that software.but a good things about the fon is that touch is osume great internet speed .but all apps are paid .not any good game in the market battery backup average.where as android give you full range of apps and games.sharing file no issue .connecting to pc no issue wifi hotspot is very good i use it every day .in short nokia lumia is old skool android in any case cool cool .go for xperia u,or chekout htc incredible s or one v

Hey Guys..Almost every one knows that it does not have a Card slot..So, lets not discuss this further..I want to focus more on other features like cam and sound..can you please share your thoughts on that..D reason i am asking is cz of the fact that Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus S7500 has almost the same features and it is more cheaper compared to Xperia U..so whether sony has an extra edge in this over samsung?
