As a Nexus 5X owner I wanted something a little smaller with better battery life. As the price on the Sony Xperia X Compact has dropped it has gotten more tempting. Today, Black Friday, BestBuy has the X Compact for $350 plus tax. So I bought one. At that price you don't have much to lose if you don't like it. Other phones I was considering were the Google Pixel (5" display) and the Apple iPhone 7 (4.7" display). But I couldn't justify the higher price of those phones to myself based on my usage (light to moderate phone calls, texts, apps and browsing) no gaming. I'll use this for a year and re-evaluate when Black Friday 2017 rolls around. Newegg has a 128GB microSD card for $31 or a 200GB microSD card for $51. I'll probably get one of those to drop in the X Compact for storing music, pictures and videos. I'm looking forward to having a phone that more easily fits in my pocket. The 129 mm height of the X Compact should be noticeably smaller than the 147 mm height of my Nexus 5X.

    Ask someone who knows for dBm & asu values out on the open ( its under settings, about phone)
    Lower the dBM andhigher the asu value, better the reception

        He ordered device and the case TOGETHER with one order. The initial express postage order.

        Next, he was informed that the style case was unavailable.

        YES, he had to pay a second express delivery for style case as Sony estore told him that, due to delayed availability of style case... The initial express delivery was already being procesed. Due to the unavailability of style case, a second postage was required and he had to pay for it.. It was impossible for both items now, be posted together. The extra 6- 8 days were nesessary for stock availability and second postage. (extra time after the inital express order) So, he was charged an unnecessary second postage. That is his complaint.

        YES, to sum it all up there were two express deliveries, but he should have only paid for one as there was an error on availability. Sony estore error.

        Yes, online ordering shortcomings can be very irratating. As for stores policy, returns, claims for unnecessary/extra postage costs, etc, etc, thats an entirely different matter and between the 2 parties involved. No comment from me.

        Not sure if your being cynical or misunderstood his wording. You seem to write alright. I know English is your second language and maybe that is the reason. I virtuaully speak 3 languages, so I can understand that problem, and at times its very frustrating.

          He ordered device and the case separately with one order.
          And was just second to last case available.
          He didnt have to pay second express case delivery if he waited those couple of days for them to get new batch of cases and send them both by express.
          He would get both for the price of delivery he paid if he waited, but that wouldnt count as express anymore would it?

          So to sum it all up there were two express deliveries?
          He did get the case delivered too?
          Im unsure of that info.

          But he was expecting to pay only one delivery he ordered?
          Well, yeah, Id expect that too, but no any online store is obliged to do that, pay extra delivery on their cost, as stated in their operating policy.

          If I was him I would wait to get both by one delivery, and ask the store for additional express delivery costs to be paid back to my account, as Id have every right to it, cause it is stated so in their operating policy.
          Its a process that takes time, but only solution
          I certainly wouldnt react as he did, as I buy online quite often and know about online store purchase shortcimings alike.
          He's right is to return it, but he will have to wait for entire refund indeed, minus delivery costs he paid cause those are not store's obligatory.

Kartal ordered the listed/available style case and phone together online and paid express postage.... Both items were listed as AVAILABLE !!! on Sony estore web page. He should have received both AVAILABLE items in about 2/3days by express postage.

            After he paid the above online transaction, he was told the style case became UNAVAILABLE for 3 days . Kartal then rang them and they now said 4 days extra wait.

            Sony estore then said, as he had already paid express postage, that 2 despatches would be necessary and he Must Pay Postage Again. Only the Phone would be sent by express postage ! Kartal reluctantly accepted Sony estore's error and paid for the second postage. Maybe he needed (or wanted) the phone and style cover quickly.

            After 2/3 days the phone arrived by paid express postage. He rang Sony and they said another 6 days wait for the style cover. Sony support line accepted their mistake and apologized. Very bad sales etiquette by Sony.

            Sony estore obviously has a problem with their software ordering process, and in house stock controls.

            Kartal was bewildered by all this. Anybody would be mortified by a simple transaction going this sour.

            You Tann Hauser, have twisted the factual order around to suit your delusional Sony perfection dreams.

            As for calling you a "Sony Agent ",.. well I can testify 100% that you act in this manner. Usually aggressive, insulting and condescending to any person who has any problem what so ever with Sony. Your understanding of Kartals problem is totally flawed and biased. Either your English reading comprehension is dubious or you are acting as a Sony Agent/ Representative.

            The charger drama appears to be a misunderstanding by Kartal. Plus misleading advertising by Sony, which unfortunatly, is commen practice world wide by all companies.

                  You came here with your experience and a crtique towards Sony which just doesnt stand up, and all we wanted to is to clear the misunderstanding up.

                  You ordered a combo device/cover offer.
                  Cover was not available at the moment.
                  They apologised and said you should wait a couple of days for them to fullfil the offer you ordered.
                  You couldnt wait a couple of days for them to get a new batch and send you what you ordered...
                  Instead you ordered a new offer, just the device, which you got with paid express delivery.
                  And got enraged you didnt get the quickcharger which wasnt in the offer in the first place,.
                  And got enraged you had to pay extra for delivery of a cover which you intended to buy through a new order days later once those were available again.

                  Its all your misunderstanding fault, yet you came to write about badboy Sony and its "agents"

                      The key word there is "option" meaning "YES" you have the option for a quick charger. I'm not a sony spokesperson but stop bashing the brand just cuz you misread.

                        What I would finally say and leave this page is:
                        Sony should spend more time in it's customer service Estore or marketing/sales/understanding and better understanding customers, not to be very covetous to the customers money and gave clear information to them than,
                        having agents in internet to give support against to complaining customers like happening in this opinions page.This will not bring the success.They lost another customer.
                        Whatever I write; there are guys in here like olive oil to get over to the top. So I am very happy with my new phone (a different brand,no need to advertise)

                              I am customer here and I thought it is in the box as they know how to advertise quick charge!
                              By the way I just saw the quick charger in online store 3 days after offer just when I received the device! Maybe they put it available that day who knows?
                              Another thing which is strange: Price of the charger is 49.99 postage free above 50 ;-) I am sure you have another explanation for that too.
                              About the delivery, When I first ordered the case cover,It was available to order thats why I ordered, then I saw 2-3 days est information, I called them and they said later approximate 4 days and then I had to partially dispatch the device! because I already paid express delivery cost and why would I wait more days instead I could get it post free? Dont you think its Estore's mistake to manage this?
                              After I got the device and when I contacted this time they said 6 more days for the cover.Even their support line accepted their mistake and apologized and this was related to manufacturer they said and you here as a sony person trying to find answers for everything and show sony good about what I experienced.
                              I am customer just a basic customer and if I am not happy with what I experienced then it is my right to turn it back.I was hoping a lot better from Sony.

                                It also says that phone supports LDAC and Ps4 Remoteplay for ex, but you didnt expect to get LDAC certified headphones and PS4 Console inside the box, did you now?

                                The page does not contain "included in the box", but under accessories subpage there are two quickchargers, described and priced as a stand alone offer....
                                Also it clearly states on this here sites review what one gets in the box...

                                So dont mind me, but that is your own wrong coclusion to get the quickcharger in the box.

                                About paying extra for delivery I wouldnt know, but the store obviously informed you that the cover is not available before sending, else you would complain about not getting the cover in the delivery itself, so you had a revised offer with delivery costs in the preorder....
                                If you didnt like the delivery price why in the first place did you pay up the revised offer?
                                Only to get what you agreed to, and just to return it back?
                                I dont get it.

                                  I am customer and of course I would go and expect the specs/features whatever advertised on the device's page!
                                  Then Why dont they add Whats in the Box as written? Thats their mistake too! (or planned)
                                  So if it is advertised in Sonys page with quick charge then of course I expect with quick charger! Does that write anywhere that it is standard charger in the box? NO

                                  For the case/cover If they make it available for purchase then I expect to have it when I buy it(especially with the phone together)Why did I have to pay extra money to have the device separately? Do you think this is fair?
