2 things stop me on buying this handset:
1. Fingerprints doesn't work when my finger is wet as my sweater
2. While fingerprint unlock doesn't work on passcode screen. It become useless when you click to reply a message from the lockscreen notification, then the passcode pr pattern appear and fingerprint doesn't work. i dont want other see my passcode when I have fingerprint

    AnonD-405901, 24 Aug 2016I thought it's a huge hit for S7 :oYeah because MOST people don't know about the heat issue. 3 years ago when it was new I was NUTS for wireless charging. Then I found that out and decided it wasn't so great after all. Fact is I can buy a QC 3.0 home charger for $12 on Amazon (and I did), but the QC 3.0 wireless ones are like $18 and up. More money just to wear down my batter quicker? No thanks.

I guess there are, but still, the heat point is something that should be factored in, ESP if you plan on keeping your phone more than 1 year.

            Wireless charging isn't all that great. The heat from the charger being in DIRECT contact with the back of the phone has been said to wear down the phone battery even faster than usual. And unless you pay like $40-$80 for the QC 2.0 charger, it will be regular charging, not QC. Also, the XP CANNNN handle QC 3.0 (don't believe those who say otherwise, I own the phone and Sony's UCH12 QC charger ISSS a 3.0 charger per Sony's website), and since there are no QC 3.0 wireless chargers, you won't be able to take advantage of that with wireless charging.

            So just get yourself a QC 3.0 wall and/or home charger, and enjoy the phone!

                Not sure about that one. The HTC 10's amp/DAC has been getting a ton of praise, where I haven't really heard all that much about the XP's, but some say it's up there or just as good. I had the 10 before the XP, so I couldn't compare them side by side. If anyone has any more info on this, please share. It's not something I can easily just look up online at this point.

                      Yes people should make their purchase based on what suits their own personal preferences best, that is in fact exactly what I do.

                      It's when such people then start claiming their smartphone of choice is then the best smartphone ever, whilst talking constant Cr*p about the competition (like using their devices as paperweight's for example).

                      They will quite happily do this yet claim foul when their own precious smartphone of choice comes in for critique, write it off as 'trolling' and play the victim.

                      Sorry if you can't see the contradiction and double standards present here.

It's becoming boring reading the reviews here, if you don't like it don't buy it as simple as that, after all its your money your choice, no one can force anyone to like/buy a phone, people buy phones which meet their expectations and options are always there. Take a break and spend your money wisely, I respect your comments here so let's not make it a war zone. Have fun and enjoy your gadgets, peace!!

No. It has a trick. It has antenna lines. They put antenna cables outside metal, connected them with antennas and other chips. So with a antennas outside metal it means they can get signal from any directions.

                                Now how about XP, it has metal back. it doesnt have antenna outside. The antenna is behind metal about 1,5cm from top frame, so since signal can't goes through metal, the closest way to reach antenna is from top plastic, it needs to sneaks 1,5cm behind metal to reach antennas.
                                Thats why the results is not good.

                                  We are talking about material, cheap plastic, and premium metal. Metal block signal, plastic doesnt, but people wants metal phones anyway. And vendors job is to create it. More metal more premium.

                                  And the10 has premium full metal unibody design. And XP only metal back, the frame is plastic, more plastic less premium, right?

                                        My knowledge on the phone is extensive, obviously more than yours. The fact that you still think the Z5 is better than the XP only further validates that.

                                        I don't need a video to tell me something different than my own experiences with BOTH phones. It's COMMON KNOWLEDGE that TouchWiz is a pretty laggy (not to mention LOUSY) UI, so for all I know the phones in your video were messed with to get more favorable results for the S7. The fact that the video does a "Speed Test" tells me right there it's BS. Speed tests are meant to determine NETWORK SPEED not device speed. It's all right here. Read it and learn something.

                                        And who the F cares about boot up speed? And who cares if the HTC 10 is a unibody or not? The point is it's METAL on the back, and STILL premium! I can't believe you actually tried to argue that it matters.

                                        In this video, the results lean towards the Xperia's favor with regards to speed. The point of this is to show you that benchmarks aren't as accurate as people think. There are MANY factors that can alter the end result. They are really just guidelines at best. My S7 SKIPPED every 3-5 minutes while playing music via the MicroUSB port (this happened ALL THE TIME), while my XP after 3-4 HOURS didn't skip once. THAT'S what I care about........the phone that doesn't dare F with my music listening. So F the S7. I'd first use it as a coaster for my drinks than as a phone.
