I go off my own experiences over any review, and so I have the right to agree with people like Team and Tann because at least they aren't full of sh*t. Nobody hear cares about your negative BS opinions except for other trolls.

    Let me put it to you simply, I am currently using an LG G5, but here's two things you'll never see me post about that device:

    1. Its the best smartphone in the world ever (simply because it's the one I own, or because I happen to 'love' the manufacturer...I don't by the way, I care as much about companies as they care about me)
    2. You should buy the G5, because then I know you'll say it's the best ever as well.

    I can't speak for what other people will think, neither can you. I could buy the XP tomorrow if I wanted and I may hate it, just because you like it doesn't mean the next guy will, get over yourself!

    With regard the best smartphone, well 'best' is a concept in this case, one based on opinion more than any other factor. This is the main difference between fanboy rantings and review conclusions. The reviewer will weigh the pros and cons of a number of devices and give you their 'opinion' on which is best. A fanboy will simply say it's the best no matter what.

          Didn't regret passing on the Z2, Z3, Z3+, and couldn't return the Z5 Fast enough. The only Xperia I have been impressed with in recent times is the Z3c, underperforming camera aside, it's a great little device.

They will keep making embarrassing decision, when the sales is low, good companies will think about whats wrong, what people wants. I dont see it from Slowny with XP in its announcement.

              -Never held a dedicated even. (Costy)
              -Before announched X series, they didnt tease anything, no invitation, not promised anything.(no confidence)
              -Short presentation. They didnt have something they proud of to tell. (Nothing new)
              -Move to plastic(cost cutting) when all vendors use all metal.
              -Decided to stop support for their 4K (no sight of future)
              And many bad news..
              - Not making VR headset and stick with FHD(Not quiet good for VR). (Dont know the trend? Or too costy?)
              -Planned to exit US, China, Brazil market. (White flag?) if only they confidence about their products.
              - close factory in Brazil.
              - No awards (i wish there is award for best joke)

                Still, according to those stats they are at number 1, so props for that and all.

                Still I'm not going to take your advice and buy any of the current X line (and yes I could quite easily if I wanted to). See, the vast majority of professional reviewers are saying that there are better options in the current 2016 line up than both the X and XP.

                Now I can take their advice, or yours.....I'll take theirs. Plus I owned more than one Xperia phone in the past, if fact I have one now as a backup device (M4 Aqua), as such I pretty much know what to expect.

                So no, until Sony can demonstrate that they have learned from past mistakes and come up with a compelling product (of which the X line isn't), I'll keep shopping elsewhere

                      And yeah Motorola also seems to be onto a good thing, not saying I'm going to rush out and buy the Moto X or anything, but an intriguing product it is.

                      Sony could learn a thing or two from both I think, changing the Z to and X and cutting back on overall features whilst keeping price high is not doing anything for them. They need to go back to the drawing board asap. I do think they still have a place in the mobile space.

                        DXOMark's results are their own, GSMArena run the their tests their own way and report their own findings (as do the all other sites that are not DXOMark), It should be noted that DxoMarks results are often at odds with the majority of other test sites.

                        As for people taking lessons, I pity anyone who values your worthless biased nonsense Tann, you could write all that you know about tech on the back of a postage stamp and still have enough room left over to sign and date it.

                        If you like this site so little, go somewhere else, a pro Sony site like that Xperia blog or something, and you chat with all your like minded buddies in your own little echo chamber.

                          Why dont you instead ask arena why, oh why, dont they publish results like those?
                          They skipped dxo Xperia results, will skip this, etc..

                            -Before the announcement, they promised the best camera, the best sound system, best build, best battery. And yes it tops dxo chart, tg praised it as best phone for music.
                            - They held dedicated even.Proudly explained about the improvement, in almost every dept.
                            -Never surrender. No plan to exit big market. Good partnership with carrier.
                            -Recently got Eisa awards for best advanced Smartphone.
                            - The vive, its also the proof they still in competition.

                            Btw, I appreciate Motorola more. While HTC improving regular features like camera, sound. Moto thinks about innovation. Motomod is brilliant, there are also AOD like features, and enhacement that only few vendor provide..

                              Btw, i approve that data. That 3 vendors have advantage with their light modded UI.

                              But theres fact that light modded UI doesnt work. That 3 vendors have low sales. While vendors with attractive UI like sammy, huawei, Oppo, Vivo sales are good this year so far.

                                Er thanks, I wouldn't necessarily say I disagree with that assessment, both HTc and Motorola seem to be making strong efforts to improve, reinvent and innovate of late.

                                  In any event, I'm sure Tann himself will be along soon to tell you what to think.

                                  Till then, my post was about countering your 'Xp is the best' opinion, the fact that you don't like what I have to say does not make my having said it mean that I am 'trolling'.

Actually make that quite a few experienced and knowledgeable tech reviewers really, as not a one of them so far has agreed with your claim.
