    Anonymous, 30 Jul 2016and on x and xp you can use all of pixels in auto modeYeah, I CAN vouch for that one. I would use 23 MP but then I can't get landscape (16:9) photos, only portrait (4:3). But I prefer landscape, so I go with the 20.7 MP for that since that's the highest one available.

    When I back them up using Google Photos, I use the unlimited storage option, which downsizes the resolution to 16 MP. I don't really like that, but the fact is, I can never tell the difference b/t 16 and 20 MPs anyway (fortunately), so it's fine. The fact is, it was taken at 20.7 MPs, so the quality is still there. Kinda like if you take a Hi-Res file (i.e. 24-bit/96KHz) and downsize it to CD-Quality (16-bit, 44.1KHz). It's still gonna sound the same despite what most people think. A dog could maybe hear the difference but NO human can. The ones that say they can are full of sh*t. lol I'm sure if I downsize it to like 8 MPs I could see a difference, but at 16 it seems too close to 20.7 to notice.

      so whats wrong with this phone? no 4k,camera app can overheat device(in fact it dosent) anddd well batter could be better
      so why dont you all stop talking how xp is bad phone,and its not overpriced,that new battery tehnology cost.. and belive me its a quality product,its sony. i am a sony fan,but im realistic,i have z3 and its great phone

                      But yes, there is no approval of higher mpx camera value/advantage by any points in their scoring.
                      That is a mistake on their behalf....
                      They measure pixel factors when giving score, yet do not value higher number of those same pixels for any score....
                      There is no match for X Performance in same percentage cropped picture quality(except some lumias), yet that fact is not awarded by any points. :-/

                        lol............ yeah only cuz they cost-cut. They need to grow some BALLS and advertise MUCH more here in the U.S.............billboards, TV ads, etc. Release phones via the carriers again, once a year not this idiotic twice a year release schedule BS, release the phones on time EVERY TIME, etc. But I guess this is still good news, though they could be doing SO much more!

                          I want to say about these 2 companies Samsung and Xperia are best but I don't like Samsung becoz lag a more bit, and the Sony I would say is the number one first company why. Becoz the audio, camera, video and etc. But u guys know already the fan famous promote. From the Japan hatsune miku promote the Xperia z and A, Michael Jackson is T2 ultra, and lastly z5 premium is Jay chou. When I listen song has some more awesome, it has nonstop playing a little time, it will continued playing changing song no stop a little time. And has some Hi-Res, playing ps4 games, man. That's why I love Sony, Sony is my favourite phone.

                            WTF?! Are you telling me that in Superior Auto mode the Xperia phones are STILL defaulting to the lowest resolution while using the highest resolution sensor?? So Dxomark's results are based on them NOT simply switching to 20 or 23 MPX from default 8 MPX in Superior Auto?! Tann & Team....what gives?!

                                But every crop on X with 23mpx is better quality than any other phone with 12/13/16/ 21 mpx, due to higher mpx exactly, and that fact is not evaluated as a factor in their score, and it should be, as pixelpeeping became a standard fot photo quality evaluation nowadays....

                                      It makes me laugh that they also gave the S7 and the HTC 10 the SAME score. Take it from someone who's owned ALL 3 PHONES......... the XP is the BEST of the 3. The 10's pics aren't as detailed as the XP's, and the S7's aren't as color accurate as the XP's. So I'm sorry, either give the other 2 lower scores, or make the XP's higher. lol
