I bought this phone 3 days ago and I will tell you my experience with this phone:
1. Lightweight phone is great texture and comfortable in hand.
2. Fast and smooth system.
3 - a great camera especially front
4 - In terms of battery and this is the most important point: the first time I feel that the battery, although it is 2700 mm amps, it will suffice you for a full day with heavy use.

When you plug it to... morehmmm... if this would be a problem then sony will just release an OTA update in regarding of this... buf if it's one of the battery care features then I guess you'll have to deal with it...my brother got this phone and has no complaints with it hence he's not that as intensive user as you guys.....and he aint regret a thing anyway with his purchase....

In theory overheating protection sounds great, but in case of that phone keeping it safe means not being able to charge it and use it, as much as I want. I'm a quite addict gamer and this phone doesn't suit my needs. I bought it beacuase of the screen size and I think this screen size is the source of problem, the output current is higher than input beacuse of the screen size. If somebody is not a heavy user it would probably serve him well, for watching instagram or facebook. But if somebody really wants to enjoy this screen for games or watching videos, the battery will be dead quickly (since it's not a very capable one) and the charging won't be possible.

I was dissapointed .i expect a lot of good and excitement about this sony xperia xa1 ultra..u know why # 1 the sound volume so much low .i already set it in a very high volume but still i cant even hear ringing when some1 calling me..so bad..i buy these phone 3days ago..really feel me stress if i knew it early i better buy another phone..not this 1..

It's a shame because big screen makes it perfect for gaming but obviously playing games gonna use a lot of battery and gonna heat up the phone. I really did like the design of the phone, the big screen, and the pictures were good quality, but as I am a clash of clans addict and sometimes I stay connected for long time, I couldn't accept that I cannot charge it while playing. I have returned it.

My Sony Xperia Z had died on me. Red light blinking and not recharging and when i tried to open the back cover,i broke it. I sent it to a shop to have it repaired but they say it could not be repaired as the mother board has been damaged. I just want to retrieve the memory that I did not transfer to the SD card. I may have to wait 8 months before I can send it to a Sony Center back in my home country. Is there still hope to retrieve ? I am on this page to read up on XA1 Ultra which looks like it is going to be my new phone. Thanks.
