Seems to me dxo mark is actually more proffesional on mobile camera testing.
You know, along with straight comments and honest opinions, they actually GIVE exact DATA to prove what they claim.

Above is the best camera phone review of the XZ that I have found. Its honest and direct with its comments. Obviously you don't like it as the XZ comes last in the flagship phone camera comparasions. I don't actually own a XZ and neither do you, so its best to accept what the experts here at gsmarena decide. After all, they have been doing this for over 16 years and are recognized as the number one mobile phone, camera phone site in the world.

You couldn't be more wrong....S4 and S5 and S6 are three totally different designs, different specs, different cameras etc, etc. The only thing in common is the brand and running Android. Why are you saying such rubbish ? Surely, you must know these differences.

Indeed. X Compact has same tech but does not suffer from so much artifacts in postprocessing.
I hope they rectified XZ postprocessing with Nougat update in that matter.
Thats the only reason XZ got lower score on dxo mark than X Performance.
But this con does not exist on X Compact shots.
I believe if they tested X Compact it would ve scored more than 88 overall.

I came for hands on opinions or reviews from people who have owned or used this phone... Instead I get Samsung pushers and iPhone instigators telling people not to bother and get one of their favourite brands.
Making my search for an honest review like searching for the holy grail.

But I really dont understand why everyone compares to Samsung devices....those are quite mediocre devices.
Just look what a joke new A series is...
A5 for 420$?!?....no OIS anymore, no video stabilisation, no 4k, no fhd at 60fps, just plain autofocus on camera, manual mode is a joke with only three parameters changable, no hi res sound, no stereospeakers, no aptx, some exynos chip with quite underperforming graphics....
And then they compare that to X Performance and not X in the rev?!?
And they raved about how X was expensive....
X is miles better that that A5 for the buck.

S6 doesn't have these and is a glass design on front and back.

All opinion being post by troll are all wrong and bias about sony overheating,trademark name,and real performance,this is because they doenst even own one sony phone
-about overheating,is wrong,all phone is overheating if record at high rate,my z5p can record 4k video until 47 minute before warning message
-trademark name,if sony just put a name on normal things to make it look fancy,than samsung also same,edge design is just normal curved screen glass that just a mess
-performance,i have being use sony phone since walkman series to z series until z5p,all still smooth even after alot of year,and dont have any problem
-price,at my place sony is more cheaper that samsung,s7 $700,get free tempered only,meanwhile xperia xz $650,get free charging dock,2 years warranty,tempered glass and case
