The fact that sony smartphones aren't selling well is the proof that the design needs improvements. 960fps camera is useless on daily usage. 3D camera isn't a 3D camera but a 3d creator app. And other things that you've mentioned won't aren't even needed. Tell me. Can you show your sony smartphone on a community full of samsung, and even LG brands without being ashamed because your phone is too generic? Can you hear your music from your FFS if the surrounding environment is louder than your smartphone? That 960fps. How long can you actually recorded it without overheating the camera module? Can you find some apps that are optimized for 4K resoulution?
    Again, everything that you've mentioned is useless. Nowadays. It's about good interface and design. Sony doesn't have this! Again. Prove it to me that sony still has the edge against other premium flagship smartphones.

              This looks like the most all round device for 2017, until we see the price of course. My only disappointment is that Sony refuses to go with an OLED screen... Come on Sony great devices but you always fall short of a complete device. WHY!!!!!!!?

                You know how in other countries the Xperia XZ premium has been down to $699 for a while now? This XZ1 was made official in my location for $800. Also, the XZ premium here is still at $900.

                          Guys stop arguing man. IMHO a feature that is useless to a person might be useful to another. Eg. If I love outdoors and hiking alot, I would certainly want waterproofing on my phone just for added protection, but to a person who stays indoor most of the time it's useless. Design is also very subjective to individual taste. Some like bazeless phones because they look futuristic, but some just don't mind the extra bazel coz it gives you extra space to hold the phone. I think there's enough hate in the world these days, so let's just share opinions peacefully and not argue on another person's opinion ya.

                                Yes, the water is the worst enemy for electronics, the waterproof features is badly needed, "Gorrila glass for what? Any user can buy from alliexpres.com scratch screen protector for just 2e" then why Xiaomi is using kind of splash resistance glass, off course the fhd is more than enough but for common usage, but viewing ultra resolution contents or pictures or 4k videos on a FHD display is a real meaning for waste.

                                  See, you have to understand,
                                  wireless charging is useless, just busts the battery to death more quickly.
                                  256 gb internal storage is useless, 200gb sd cards are waaay cheaper options doing the same function.
                                  Dual cameras are useless, dont give any extra number of functionality over a single one.
                                  32 bit sound is useless, doesnt enhance sound quality at all, just uses more power to give out same quality with possible higher db, which is utterly unecessary as to 24 bit db levels. DTS HD is especially useless as you cant experience it on your phone at all.
                                  VR capability is useless without googles, and all phones have VR capability, so Daydream is indeed useless.
                                  Tango AR is useless, all phones have AR capability, why name it differently.
                                  The industrial level build on a phone such as LG V30 is useless, you certainly wont go cracking stones with a flagship priced phone.

                                  See, everything you value is just useless, just like you see everything Sony phone has as useless.

                                  This debate is useless most of all.
                                  You quarell about some useless phones over a useless phone.

                                    Do you really use your phone in heavy rain or swim with your phone?
                                    I think not. Gorrila glass for what? Any user can buy from alliexpres.com scratch screen protector for just 2e. So gorrila glass its just crap which make phone much more expensive.
                                    And for display and camera its good enough you are just thinking that you are somethign special. FHD display is more than enough 2k or 4k its just waste of money. Unless you have screen big as 55 inch TV you wont spot any differences. Man i am selling phones a very long time. I know what i am talking about.

And the waterproof few years earlier...battery care features... etc Are all useless features because your beloved brand doesn't support it, while the bezelless display and dual camera lens (whatever is its performance) are the best features because your beloved brand support it, you are just proving what i told you earlier, look at your post history lol.
