I have become fun of SONY because of their original design in the past few years. I am a satisfied and proud owner of SONY XPERIA Z5 Premium with a 23MP camera (even now, still the best camera on the market). I have also owned SONY Z1 but now the new Sony XZ2 is with more or less same but older design as Samsung, without FM Radio, without 3.5mm jack and I will say only 19MP camera (still the best in comparison with other brands).
Anyway, I will think twice before I buy the new SONY.

This phone looks like a blend of Xperia X, Xperia Neo (the old one because of the camera lol) and Xperia Z3. They all wanted a full redesign, they get it and now they complain. Sony fans arise!

Samsung made the Note 7 and they're not dead, are they? It would be nice to have OIS, but the 5-axis stabilization is amazing. Plus, Sony has a lightly skinned android, so 4GB is FINE! Samsung S9 has 4GB and it costs like $100-$150 more and I don't see you complaining about that.

And because of the SD 845 the 1080p960 is possible. So I think it's mostly hardware dependant, but I wish the XZP to have 1080p960

Weird and ugly design, dont have ois, upgrading slow mo resolution instead of getting longer record, no headphone jack, no 6 or 8 gb ram etc
And they expect people to buy it! Weird! Sony is dead!

I really anticipated for that 'sn 845' SoC but good job sony,such a shame you dressed it with an awful swag,now I better stick to xz premium..we need an update of the super slowmo to 1080 p @960 fps on the xperia xz premium

First of all, Sony copied no one in designing this phone. For those complaining about round edges, have a good look at the design of Xperia X then come back and say your sorry.
Anyway, this phone is unique and will be fun to use especially those new vibration tech. can't wait to have that dual shock experience on android games and movies.
Normally, I would be glad many (children) don't like this phone cos it then means I and few others will be using this beauty exclusively but Sony needs to make much more sales, so please if u don't like it stop discouraging other people. Just head to your favourite phone section pls.

2. Not happy about 18:9 either, but seems like Sony is going after the trends
3. Again, the trend. I don't think space was the problem, they just want to follow trends. Which I don't really like either
4. 4GB is perfectly fine. What kind of multitasking do you think will exceed that? And the S9 has 4GB too, 6 is a bit overkill
5. Didn't read on Samsung's slo-mo, will pass
6. It's new specs, can't expect it to be practical immediately. And who knows, "future proof"?
7. I think since they cut the bezels, they had less space to arrange things inside. So they curved the back, thus the thickness. After all they don't want too much battery in a small case like Note 7. But I don't like the thickness
