Is it just the image or does this phone look modern on the front and old and kinda cheap from the back? Like the xz1 compact design more.

How is it that the processor size goes down yet the phone size doesn't stay down (at least one option)? I'd love to see an Ace 3 Pro with, at max, a 5.3" display with minimal bezel (a la Xperia 5) with at least Snapdragon's upcoming 700-series processor, bigger battery, triple cam (it can totally fit with the new processor sizes), improved selfie, DAC in the headphone jack, 8GB RAM/128-256GB ROM, mmWave, and 1080p@120Hz display with just increasing the thickness by a smidge. That'd be a welcome surprise next year if Sony announced something like this late next summer.

XZ3c, 21 Jul 2021I'am waiting for Sony Xperia XZ3 Compact ... any idea ... moreIt's now 2021, been 3 years since Xperia XZ3 was released. Besides, the XZ Lineup is over, replaced by Xperia 1/5/10. Might as well get Asus Zenfone 8 (148 x 68.5 x 8.9) if you want a compact phone.

Temporary solution (1 month) was the method found on YouTube where with the piezo ignitor from the lighter. Screen became normal. I also have a problem with the muting of the conversation with my ear due to the faulty proximity sensor ( from the beginning), temporary bad connection / signal reception, weak flash,... I love my phone, I like the UI, small size, camera,... But the problems seem to be the same on the 5 ii.

i love sony but this devices drives me insane, ghost touches appear frequently ( which would drives you insane too if youre working ), notification bar keep scrolling down, terrible touch sensivity, faulty keyboard. in a word its unstable and unreliable. Im using iphone 7 along with sony xz2c, which never fails me in such daily tasks

T... moreAny extra thing sticking out of the USB-C port (or Apple Lightning port) makes serious damage by snapping (and mere straining) the extra adapter FAR more likely. I use a 3.5mm extension lead, 6 inches or so, with an L-shaped jack end into the phone, so it minimizes the risk and maximises the cable-orientation options for me. Freedom is more important than the pathetic gains in looks or "battery" from not having a hole and 4mm x 4mm x 14mm space inside the phone body saved with no 3.5mm jack. People are terrible at design these days, too corrupt with hidden agendas and lack of respect for the K.I.S.S. design principle.

Good phone, I still use it today. My only problem is the design of the back: the backpanel is not "flat" it is slightly curved and so when you put it down on a surface, it does not stay still. It wobbles ? It is bothering me a little, especially when it is a bit hot and I want to cool down my phone but then I need to lay it down on the touch screen side so it is completely flat and the heat dissipates, but then I cannot use the phone anymore.
